I was wondering if I'd imagined that, but yes I heard the players get booed running out for the second half too.Quite a few booed the team out after half time, haven’t seen that in a good while
I was about to walk out until I realized I lived there.I'll admit I was booing last night. Until the Mrs turned the TV off and told me to grow up.
Flicked the Vs at her as a retort.
I had the exact same thoughts.I thought it was a really strange night overall. The little things like not playing pigbag, the announcer just seemed to be a little downbeat - I understand with whats happening currently, but howay, it's a football match and we need to do everything we can to lift the team and the supporters. From my seat in the south, with them getting an early goal, I just seemed to sense a little toxicity from some, it was a really weird atmosphere. There was definitely a lot more what seemed like day trippers around me too, either absolutely mortal or just moaned from the off.
Maybe we'd have improved so much that we'd gotten a point from the game if it wasn't for the booing? This was my point though. How can we say it wasn’t helpful when they came out and won the second half. Maybe it actually WAS helpful?
The OP didn’t actually ask who boos or who doesn’t boo. But I’m glad you felt the need to tell usI’ve never booed The Boro, and never will
