Bolasie.

Haven't any lessons been learned about the effect on team morale of
a. having a minority of players on vastly bigger pay deals than the rest and
b. having ageing players on long contracts

He was here last season and we fell away from the top 6.What makes folk it will be any different this time?
Well for starters he was an out snd out attacking winger providing chances to …. No striker.
This season, in Ikpeazu and Crooks, at least we have players who look like they give a damn and will get on the end of stuff

I’m not saying he’s a world beater and I’d be desperate to sign him. Just that IF the price is right I’d have him back no problems.

I didn't want him to come as I feared his attitude would be wrong, but I was wrong about that.
I wouldn't sign him because I don't think he is very good and he did not improve us as a team. He won't if we bring him back again.
He got one big move in his career and Everton regretted it almost immediately.

I suspect he will sign on deadline day having run out of alternatives, declare he was only ever going to come to us and then sit on the bench as an expensive option.

What concerned me most about Bolasie was his dithering as a wide player, rarely looking to get quick crosses in. Johnson's low crossing was more effective. He did score goals though but that wasn't his primary role and wouldn't be if he returned.

I would have originally had him back in a heartbeat, but now if it was going to effect the progression of Isiah Jones then it would have to be no thank you.

I guess he is waiting until clubs have declared their European squads and if hasn't been fixed up with a team then he will have to accept offers from teams who do not have to declare squads eg us. We can sign him at any point as he is a free agent but not sure that is the case for top division clubs due to their 25 man squads.

Its not ideal, but as that footie quote goes 'It is what it is'

Because it’s likely going to be one of the last contracts he ever earns. It’s easy to say football players have made loads of cash but most went born into money management skills and most end up bankrupt after a few years as your income dries up but you have to survive on it for the next 50 odd years, will have expensive cats, house, family, staff etc

Yea an enviable position but doesn’t mean you don’t want to secure the best for you and your family’s future

He is married with 3 children and will want to do the best for them as he possibly can, regardless of what he has already put away as even if he goes into coaching or management, the salary will be drops of water in the ocean compared to playing
These expensive cats are they like fancy breeds or is the cost down to the mayhem caused by their hilarious high jinks like Top Cat?

Read on Facebook he's coming back, not sure if it's true or just an eleven year old posting a rumour but I'd be happy if he did!

I'd be happy with him coming back. Couple more strikers, this left back, maybe another winger/attacking mid, I'd be very content.

I wuld love him back, cant understand people not
agreed 3 goals and 3 assists in 12 starts last season, despite only being 100% fit for half of that time. If you got 30 starts out of him, he might break double figures for goals, or assists or if he really found his groove both.

He's 32, it's his last hurrah whatever he does, I doubt it's about the money any more, would love to have him back, and taking young Sivi and Jones under his wing a bit.

This is the way I see it. I think having players like Crooks and Ikpeazu now means we can actually play the way Warnock wants us to play, and Bolasie could really thrive off having a couple of big men to play off and provide chances for.

It would be a snip to bring him in for nothing, on a low wage contract.

I think he suits our playing style more this season than last in terms of the wide forwards Warnock started at Fulham. The fact he can do a job up front when we are so short of strikers is another plus.

I reckon, he’s been coming all along. I reckon, we couldn’t afford him; so we have got rid of several players to free up some money. Then Warnock has told him to keep his self fit, which he has been doing. 👍
