Blur -Wembley

Yeah the fact is you see phones in front of your vision the entire gig.. and the gig is filmed in HD by professionals so it's entirely pointless! Just say 'i was at that gig' whilst showing people the professional footage!

The crowd was a bit poor last night in genera, people kicking off because we were jumping and enjoying the gig.. my bro got started on for knocking into someones daughter! (We were in the middle of the floor at the front) so it's not exactly weird to want to jump and enjoy the tunes and get into it!

Absolutely fantastic gig for the music and band but the rest of it was pish poor!
Sorry but I find it incredible you're talking about someone standing still with a phone in hand ruining your expereience whilst simultaneously jumping up and down in front of other people to the point you're knocking into them?

Lots of people go to the middle/front to watch the band from up close and don't want people jumping into them. Starting on your bro is out of order but so is jumping into someone's daughter...

I was there on Saturday too, and they were absolutely fantastic! It was such a joyous gig, up there with my all time best

Loved being on Wembleys pitch too, what a buzz!

Fairly typical of the entitled "I'll do what I want and sod everyone else" attitude prevalent these days I'm afraid

If you're at the front you should expect to get pushed about unless its elton john.

Hang on a minute just to defend the guy, if I was to go to Wembley to see Blur and got pitch side standing tickets I would expect a bit of bouncing and expect to get knocked about. I mean when Song 2 or Girls and Boys is being banged out are you really expecting people to sway from side to side in a controlled way.

I obviously don’t know the full account of what happened and maybe the lads brother was being more aggressive than is being told but cmon kicking off cos you got knocked about whilst standing at a Blur gig😫

wow.. classic Fmttmb tripe hahah

I wasn't in anyway suggesting people can't go to a gig and enjoy it the way they want! I was merely pointing out the fact holding phones up at a live gig in my humble opinion is ridiculous considering it was all seater round the edges and sides anyone would have been clearly able to film to their hearts content! HOWEVER standing in the pit / middle of a gig on the floor is generally accepted that people go there to dance and jump about (especially to blur) and therefore kicking off about being gently knocked into by a group of people enjoying the gig in the way most live gigs are enjoyed on the floor (not seats) is utterly ridiculous again in my humble opinion.

Anyone with half a brain or any experience of gigs would get this.. but i'm guessing you are neither way blessed or experienced!

yeah i'm equally entitled to enjoy a gig i've paid for in a normal way! Would you kick off if people sitting next to you were cheering at a football match because you preferred quiet?

you find that Incredible? Really... You should get out more mate!

Not to get into any silly Fmttm Spats so apologies if any of my comments were taking out of context.. Peace and love to all :)

check this video for context and watch Parklife (this is when my bro got started on) Anyone who believes being on the floor and getting angry with anyone jumping about is justified / logical needs to give their head a wobble!

have a good week all x

ratedr69 i was at both depeche mode at twickenham and blur on saturday - im interested to know which one you thought was the best?
Well I was less drunk at Wembley haha

Wembley was much better. Interaction alone was a big difference. You could see how much that meant at Wembley

Twickenham was amazing but you could watch any of the mode gigs from this tour on YouTube and they will all be very samey. And yeah I’ll still be buying the winter tour tickets for Manchester

I want to Sundays gig and it was just stunningly good.

Charged with emotion, pretty hard rocking in places, full of quirky endearing charm in others (Damon making a sage tea and telling us about how Wembley got its name for example, or Graham balancing a pint on his head for no reason). Epic in the encore and, for 10 minutes when country house and parhlife was played, it felt like we literally went back in time 27 years!
