Birmingham vs Wrexham

I hate both clubs. No reason other than ridiculous spending and these 'celeb' owners / said 'celeb' owners mates. Just a ridiculous media fanfare.

Unfortunately both can't lose. So I'll go for Birmingham as they are playing the Welsh. That's more so as I'm currently working in Merthyr Tydfil 😂

I threw Stanfields name into the hat as a player Boro should go after in the summer. Genuinely thought 4-5mil would get him. Feck knows how they paid 12.

It's even worse, according to Fulham, they've paid a guaranteed £15m, and there are £5m of add-ons on top of that.

I like what Wrexham have done and I’ve enjoyed the game tonight, but Birmingham City have given them a torrid time after conceding so early, credit to Birmingham

I have no problem with either club. Lived in Brum for 10 years and the Bluenoses are proper fans, quite a lot like us. I’ve been to the Racecourse a lot with friends who live that way, when the crowd was 3-4,000. I don’t begrudge the fans a bit of success. Why should I? Both are unfashionable, not their fault we live in a media obsessed world. And as for spending hugely, I don’t think we’re wholly innocent there, are we?

Americans have no concept of leagues and divisions.. they don’t have the league pyramid so everyone is seem no as being even!

League one must be top right? I guess that’s partly our fault. They have the World Series over there with only them in it.. I guess they could make league one the best gawd datum league division in engerland!

The football standard at the top of MLS is probably league one right now.. so at least the game will look the part.

The Red Dragons of Wrecks Em wonder by Deadpool
versus
The Blue 1875s of Burr Ming Ham owned by Tom Brady

“He may be one of the most successful athletes of all time, but his reputation didn't matter a bit to the travelling Wrexham fans as they subjected him to an abusive chant.

In a video posted on social media, the Wrexham fans can be heard chanting: "Who the f***, who the f***, who the f****** hell are you?" as he walked past where they were housed in the stadium.”

I hope to see the day where an English man takes over an American franchise and cuts out all the nonsense.

The Miami Dolphins become Miami RFU and they play in royal blue and white rather than teal and orange.

Sponsored by bovril or maybe fray bentos?

Agreed , I like Stansfield but at £10m - £15m overpriced.
I did reccomend Alex Cochrane on numerous occasions on here , Brum LB , he looks a very good player and a bargain at £1.2m

I absolutely despise what Wrexham have done. Bought their way out of two leagues while having the most insufferable PR going.

They went from a fan owned community asset to a plaything for some actors. Regardless of what 'great things' they do for the area on the way to wherever they're going, there is no way it ends up back in the fans' hands by the end.

Ask any Wrexham fan if they would like to still be a skint community owned club in Division 5. I’ve only been a few times since the revolution, tickets not easily come by now, but the fans are buzzing. When they celebrities move in, they will have given Wrexham a fantastic legacy.
I hate St Andrews too. Been there some many times and never saw us win.

Yes, I'm sure they are enjoying it now. And I bet they don't even regret how undignified they all are with their brown-nosing of Reynolds and McIlhenny.

But they won't be there forever and when they leave they aren't giving the club back. They are making a huge profit and selling to the highest bidder.

A football club is a community asset and its owners are custodians first and foremost. Skint in Division 5 with no master is infinitely better than wherever this circus ends up.

Better for whom? We’ll have to disagree on this one LPB.
