I hate both clubs. No reason other than ridiculous spending and these 'celeb' owners / said 'celeb' owners mates. Just a ridiculous media fanfare.
Unfortunately both can't lose. So I'll go for Birmingham as they are playing the Welsh. That's more so as I'm currently working in Merthyr Tydfil
I threw Stanfields name into the hat as a player Boro should go after in the summer. Genuinely thought 4-5mil would get him. Feck knows how they paid 12.
I've just come in are catching up. Went on the BBC to see the score and they are classing it as the Hollywood Derby.I heard the invited guests classed as “Hollywood royalty”.
It’s Birmingham vs Wrexham FFS
Agreed , I like Stansfield but at £10m - £15m overpriced. It's even worse, according to Fulham, they've paid a guaranteed £15m, and there are £5m of add-ons on top of that.
I'd never heard of him before last night, he put a lovely cross in for Stanfield's second.Agreed , I like Stansfield but at £10m - £15m overpriced.
I did reccomend Alex Cochrane on numerous occasions on here , Brum LB , he looks a very good player and a bargain at £1.2m
I absolutely despise what Wrexham have done. Bought their way out of two leagues while having the most insufferable PR going.I like what Wrexham have done and I’ve enjoyed the game tonight, but Birmingham City have given them a torrid time after conceding so early, credit to Birmingham
Cant stand them eitherI absolutely despise what Wrexham have done. Bought their way out of two leagues while having the most insufferable PR going.
They went from a fan owned community asset to a plaything for some actors. Regardless of what 'great things' they do for the area on the way to wherever they're going, there is no way it ends up back in the fans' hands by the end.
I despise both teams to be honest. Never liked Birmingham. Always hated St AndrewsCant stand them either
Ask any Wrexham fan if they would like to still be a skint community owned club in Division 5. I’ve only been a few times since the revolution, tickets not easily come by now, but the fans are buzzing. When they celebrities move in, they will have given Wrexham a fantastic legacy.I absolutely despise what Wrexham have done. Yes, I'm sure they are enjoying it now. And I bet they don't even regret how undignified they all are with their brown-nosing of Reynolds and McIlhenny.Ask any Wrexham fan if they would like to still be a skint community owned club in Division 5. I hate St Andrews too. Been there some many times and never saw us win.
Better for whom? We’ll have to disagree on this one LPB.Yes, I'm sure they are enjoying it now. And I bet they don't even regret how undignified they all are with their brown-nosing of Reynolds and McIlhenny.
But they won't be there forever and when they leave they aren't giving the club back. They are making a huge profit and selling to the highest bidder.
A football club is a community asset and its owners are custodians first and foremost. Skint in Division 5 with no master is infinitely better than wherever this circus ends up.
