I think if Wrexham were sold and taken over by 'just some guy', lets say Steve Gibson or Mike Ashley, their new found support would quickly diminish. I think a lot of their American supporters will likely also support Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea etc as their 'main team' and will focus on them instead.

Sure…and I expect the numbers would fall off a cliff if it goes to a faceless corporation…but they’re new found figures are huge…worst case, they’re going to have a bigger fan base than they did before the takeover. Some of it will stick.

Deadpool will make a ton of money.. then loads of annoying American celebs will come over spinning their money on lower league sides.. not all of them will be successful.
