Or maybe he believed he could make it at the highest level?
I really liked him, I think injuries and a preference for Britt were his undoing. I think he did okay.Maybe. And I'm not knocking self belief. But if that was the case, then as I say he's been badly advised. I think you need to be performing above average most weeks in the championship to realistically expect you can cut it at prem level. As much as I quite liked him, he was pretty average at this level bar the odd game.
Poor career move from a purely sporting perspective. So he was either a bit deluded as to his ability (too high an opinion of himself) or just didn't really care there was a fairly high chance he wasn't going to play.
And do we really want a player on loan who was pretty average at this level, if we're aiming for higher? I'd have kept him because I think he was ok and had potential to kick on. But he's barely kicked a ball in 6 months and if he does kick on (and that's a big if), we won't be reaping the benefits. Watford will.
What? He was out of contract and signed for a prem club on mega bucks! He was a solid performer and we were worse off without him. How many chances did he genuinely gird on a plate to Britt? I’d defo have him back, mentioned him a while back and I hope there’s something in it.Nope let him rot.
if only he was as good as he thinks he is.
Does he ?at Championship level he scores goals
When did this happen?Would love this if true. Seems a genuine sort and at Championship level he scores goals
Usually he gets his info off oneBoroSorry where has the OP heard this from?
