Just heard this one folks...👍📞
Lack of game time at Watford
Would fit into our style
Hardworking, athletic with pace.
Knows the players, would slot straight into the squad.

Would yas take him ??

Saw this yesterday on FLW I think it was. And my immediate reaction was No thanks, we don't need another striker who doesn't score goals and to add insult to injury we lost a load of money on him by him leaving on a free. However that was yesterday when I read the article and I have gone away and pondered it and my answer is still NO for the reasons above plus a few other I have thought of in the past 24 hours.

Yeah we are trying to move on....but to a different way of playing, on the deck with 2 upfront.
Neither Fletcher or Britt were suited to the lone striker role and balls played up in the air.
Fletcher has the mobility and attributes to play in our current style. Could be a perfect homecoming.

Remember where you herd it first 🤣

Burnt his bridges for me. Could've stayed and tried to cement his place as a starter at this level. Which at 26, is what he needs.

Not sure if he was badly advised or just saw the £ signs, but he's gone somewhere he must've known he was very unlikely to play. Either deluded as to his own ability or happy to sit on the bench (at best) and pick up the money. While he's entitled to do that not sure that's a mentality I want at the club.

Or maybe he believed he could make it at the highest level?

Based on? 😂

This guy made a lot of money out of us with little or no return. I can't believe that this is true. Why would he come back? Quick enough to say 'I'm off' despite having a contract on the table since December.
