Some peoples glasses are half empty.
Some peoples glasses are half full.
It’s just the way of the world.

It's been a very good test series so far and we have a chance of drawing level and to beat them in the final test to clinch the series. It matters because too many on here talk are very quick to knock when things aren’t going their way.
Enjoy your weekend my friend and hopefully we can get over the line, weather permitting.
I absolutely slated the signing of Watmore. I publicly (on here) changed my views. It matters because too many on here talk are very quick to knock when things aren’t going their way.

I know it seems strange saying so but I think we were under-cooked in those first two tests.I think there are one or two on this board that might want to go through the first three Ashes threads and delete their posts before they are made to eat humble pie.
Many on here slated England, their Baz Ball tactics and certain player sections.
I don’t know how many times I read the weather will save use from a whitewash.
The thing is though, it seems to be the same posters who are all doom and gloom when the Boro are on a sticky patch.
Bairstow was rightly criticised. That's his second decent batting performance but he's dropped howlers with the gloves that cost the team earlier in the series. Good to see his brilliant catch and batting display this test.I absolutely slated the signing of Watmore. I publicly (on here) changed my views.
Things change. I imagine everyone had posted about life/EVs or sport and looked daft. You can only comment on what's happing at the time.
Sky have hung many out to dry. Yet now back tracking. See tonight's Bairstows frosty interview tonight
yeah was thinking that maybe Australia had an advantage playing the world final game against India to warm them upI know it seems strange saying so but I think we were under-cooked in those first two tests.
You, my friend, have played an absolute blinder this 4th test. Any chance you can jinx the amount of rain we're supposed to get over the next 2 days too please
Said that at the time, we warmed up with , no disrespect Ireland.yeah was thinking that maybe Australia had an advantage playing the world final game against India to warm them up
You’re playing a blinder, son, keep your head down, you’ll get us homeI can only see dark clouds of rain the next 48 sadly and if not I fancy labushagne batting for the 2 days
England have played a near perfect game so far, maybe a slightly earlier deceleration here
If we don’t get a result because of the weather it’ll bring it to light the foolhardiness of the first deceleration
Disagree, that declaration was far too cavalier. We’d have had a better chance of being 1-1 nowIf England lose the Ashes, it's purely down to dropped catches, wickets with no balls and reckless shots at key moments in the first 2 tests.
All of that far outweighs the early declaration.
How’s the forecast today? I’m not in the country
SchadeHeavy rain for most of the day.
Be lucky to get any play.
Don’t understand with the forecast that we didn’t play til 7pm the first 3 days
Forecast is for a 90% chance of heavy rain for every single remaining available hour of the match unfortunately. How’s the forecast today? I’m not in the country
