Anyone heard how many have renewed so far?

Renewing mine and my sons over the weekend, but like many have stated, (unless we play good football and are in the mix for promotion)
There won’t be many walk ups, so attendances will be well down on the last 2 seasons.

I don’t see a massive as low as 9000 - that would be well over half not renewing, but there will be a drop of some kind that’s for sure. My guess is 2-3 thousand, which is still a fair drop. The club really have a lot of work to do to get the fan base back on side, and they can do that by being a lot more proactive in communicating with us and by making some very positive signings this summer transfer window.

I haven’t as yet. I want to but I now have to start working 1 in 3 weekends. I wont have a say on which weekends and the chances of swapping is pretty small. Still have 48hrs to decide.

Out of 4 of us that have been season ticket holders for a good number of years, ones not renewing, one is 50/50 but looking unlikely and then 2 of us that are.

Renewed weeks ago. Forget about the bad Marketing and customer relations. We have Michael Carrick, a good young team and Gibbo will invest again. If we keep Hackney, Van den Berg, and buy a good defensive midfielder and get Chuba back on loan (or similar) we have a chance next year. Unless we win our last eight games… :)

When posters complain during next season about STs getting all the away tickets and how its impossible because they have everything sewn up - remember these painful times on the wallet and a season where we have not been above 8th/9th all season..

The key thing I think is ending this season well and starting next season well. That will settle the overall crowd numbers and season card numbers. Maybe a win today will tempt a few more people over the line.

Sounds sensibe for home games for a newbie, but it’s the away games where the ST is most useful.
Not everyone can afford a ST and if they can but choose not to have one, I’m sure they have taken priority points into consideration.

Of course, for many, away games aren’t something they do regularly, if at all. So not a consideration for those.

Even having a ST doesn’t guarantee a ticket to an away game as point requirement often exceeds the base amount you get with a ST and if it’s popular not all ST holders who want to can attend.

£390 for a lower tier (over 65s) in the West Stand which is not cheap, but that seems acceptable especially if includes the free drinks offer.
As someone who has constantly put across the argument that our ST prices are fair, would you have been as forceful in your argument if you were paying £650 for that same seat? (Without the free pint)

It will be a temporary blip. When Ben. T's promised 250,000 local well paid jobs are properly created, probably by Tuesday next week, we'll be forming a co-operative, buying out Gibson and giving season cards away free to everyone who wants one.

That's if you get your free drink.
Mate was first time concession (over 65) last season so they issued him a new card before season started unfortunately it wouldn't work for free pint.
Went to ticket office many times to be told it should now work, next match same again. By end of season supervisor at bar was just giving him his free pint anyway (which he had to sign for). She was so sick of the arguments over it.
My first concession (over 65) next year so new card to be issued, I am expecting same chew. We shall see.

So if come beginning of next season Hackney and Van Den Berg have possibly been sold can you have your money back.

Didn’t have a problem with mine last year!

There was a slight queue on the ticket system this morning so I guess quite a few of us have bitten the bullet on Good Friday.
