Anyone heard how many have renewed so far?

I’m seeing rumours of “around 9,000” on Twitter, but I’m taking that with a large pinch of salt.

I am honestly seeing this as a test of how hardcore our support is. I would not be surprised to see a new loyalty brought in to replace the chairmans drink. I am convinced

Despite a lot of hot air when the renewal details came out, most on here seem to have “reluctantly” renewed.

Some are really sticking it to the man by renewing quite close to the deadline though, so that should learn em.

I doubt anyone will notice any difference.

Loads of people will be waiting until the last minute for multiple reasons, whether it just be to make them sweat (my reason, even though I know they wont be but it makes me feel better :ROFLMAO: ) or because they dont get paid until today.

Expect a significant increase by the end of the day.

I've just renewed there using the payment scheme.

I don't think it will be as low as 9,000 but I wouldn't be surprised if we drop down to 16/17,000.

If it is as low as 16/17k, that would be a 19-24% decrease/ Thats a huge amount lost and rights off the £30 increase straightaway.

I can't see us getting many walk up especially midweek. With some teams only bringing a few hundred away fans we could be seeing some very low attendances next season

We start winning games, and there will be plenty of bumper crowds.

There's bound to be a big drop off.

This season was our highest second division season ticket total for a long time on the back of a brilliant and thoroughly entertaining 8 months from November to May.

But this time it's been a really poor and unenjoyable season, especially at home, then there's the PR disaster of the renewal.

No chance will we have close to 22,000 again.

Initially quite a few on here said they wouldn't be renewing.

The new payment scheme may have swayed a few, but I'm still expecting a significant drop off from this seasons number.

I think ST sales will be down across the Championship. Nearly everything will be on the telly kicking off at Thursday tea time.

When I worked out that my son's season ticket works out at less than I was paying in Holgate it was a no brainer. He's 16 now so that is very good value. And I really, really don't want not go to the match. It's super important.

For example I'm about to pack for Southampton, before Sheff Wed on Mon and then go on holiday on Tuesday. It's just what we do isn't it.
