Anyone feel like they may have got a little bit carried away?

Yes, but managers move from place to place, even Wenger was shown the door, and unbelievably Ranreri.

I just want MFC to win, if that was Micky Mouse I would not give a fig.
No chance he's under contract to Disney so Gibbo won't even make an approach. Mind you we'd be in pole position for the Mickey Mouse Cup surely. :giggle:

Still very concerned about it all and not at all confident that he's staying.

If there's nothing in the links, Wilder shoulders a great deal of the blame for the current unrest for answering the questions like an idiot.

I don't think he is an idiot though, I think it's more likely that he actually is interested in the Burnley job and is putting out feelers.
Or maybe idiots are putting 2 add 2 and coming to BS.

Manager is an early favourite for Burnley job, is asked about the links and refuses to deny them, is asked again a few days later if there's anything in the links and says "nobody knows what's around the corner for anything, do they?".

It doesn't make somebody an idiot to be concerned by that.

Come on lads…..he’s not embraced the area, he’s not extolled the virtues of the parmo……man’s a fraud😉

He's a good manager at this level, but you can tell he knows it too, and I can see him sometimes getting carried away with the media hype, so he's probably enjoyed the attention of being linked to a current Premier League job - especially if he feels he's got unfinished business in that league.

He's been brilliant for us and he could do something really excellent at Boro.

Despite the clubs insistence that he's not leaving I'm still not convinced.

Whether it's to Burnley now, or the summer, or another club, I think he's a manager who is ambitious and I don't fall out with that at all.

The fact he's been linked with other jobs is a due to his ability and success, so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it, just enjoy it for as long as it lasts.

No, dead easy for him to answer. He’s a fully grown man with a bit about him, he knows the score. Roll on Saturday indeed!

I want him beating his chest, kissing the badge and the works. I want him to sacrifice himself for this club I want him leading by example and running through walls for the boro.

This isn’t fly fishing or paint by numbers! We go to Swansea on Saturday and we go to war. We’re fighting for our reputation our legacy our future. I want to see each and every player taking their opportunity.

Not only on the pitch, on the bench too! I don’t want to see Matt Crooks with his head down checking his phone. I want to see him running every yard kicking every ball. Same with Dael Fry no need to be on his phone when mentally he should be on the pitch, visualisation, anticipating movements reviewing our defenders place and body positioning. Why not take the opportunity to better yourself? No point being there sat in the stand taking up a seat.. plenty of lads getting chucked out or banned that couldn’t afford a ticket. Plenty of fans never given the chance to play sport full stop let alone professionally of for their team. That’s the stuff dreams are made of, life is short, wake up and make the most of it!

Each and everyone of our players have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on the lives of thousands, to be seen as a hero and change the life path of someone struggling..
Well said. You need to be doing the Pre-match team talk.

If he does clarify in the way you demand what are you going to write about for the next day or so? You seem to be a man “on steroids” ever since the bookies odds were published

I’m still keeping faith and haven’t really over reacted mainly as I still think he has integrity.

but I’ll admit signs aren’t good.

What if they officially approach us and we say no. ???

Then what

We might not be able to say no. It depends on what is in his contract. He might be free to leave without compensation from Burnley, we simply don’t know. We have to trust in Gibson were the worst to happen.

I understand the attraction for Burnley, but not for Wilder for the reasons stated on other threads previously. I hope it is all nonsense, but the silence is somewhat deafening.
