60/40 for the first fight, 50/50 if AJ wins in the rematch, could be streamed on DAZN and BT and a venue sorted. AJ had no reason not to sign.

Absolutely, Cincinnati knew the game inside out and always provided great insight and knowledge.I think Tyson is coming off worse here IMO. I think he'll quite rightly start getting called out by it if he fights Charr, Chisora or some other middle of the road heavyweight. What happened to retiring? I'm a huge fan of TF, but I'm beginning to become tired of him.
Side-note: Anyone know what happened to Cincinnati? I used to like reading his take on all matters boxing?
This was from talksport yesterdayEast as that!
I don’t know how these multi millionaire business end up in such lucrative roles.
Alex the kid from FMTTM could sort it in a few minutes.
I am in complete agreement with you and that is why when Tyson puts a deadline on this as he did it seems obvious he’s the one who doesn’t really want the fight! They’ve called his bluff so he just makes the demands increasingly unrealistic.Didn't see that, and seems like AJ has been more than fair there.
Point is, there could be loads of contentious points in a contract. Many of them minor details. But obviously they need sorting before it's signed.
If the main purse splits are agreed verbally and other major points and the contract looks likely, there no reason why both fighters can't start training with the finer details thrashed out in the background. It's not uncommon.
Like AJ said, it's with his legal team and promotion team to sort that out.
The Monday deadline was ridiculous, when did he announce it? Back end of the previous week? The weekend before? Genuinely can’t remember but didn’t seem long.I am in complete agreement with you and that is why when Tyson puts a deadline on this as he did it seems obvious he’s the one who doesn’t really want the fight! That’s what I’m saying he made the Monday deadline on the Friday before , maybe even the Sunday. Not content with that he then moved it to 5pm - I like his boxing but his posts are embarrassing! The Monday deadline was ridiculous, when did he announce it? Back end of the previous week? Even a put a 5pm deadline in it! 6pm / 7pm was too late!!
When he retires he could always go into childrens TV, Jackanory with Tyson Fury.

It was Spencer Oliver who said it as a guest, he’s pretty well respected.they're not dubbed talkshyte for nothing

I really hope you are right and Fury does face Usyk next year but I think we will see the same circus next year when it comes to making that fight. The other side to this is that Fury and his team could be aware that 95% of the terms were agreed but they were arguing over stupid things (I heard things like who can post what on social media for example) - maybe Fury got sick of Hearn & AJ's delays over small issues so put the pressure on?
All of this will be forgotten about in December - Fury will beat whoever he faces and then will fight Usyk in 2023 for the unification. If Fury wins that fight he will really retire, IMHO. If he loses we'll get a rematch.
If they are that stupid why wouldn't Fury just accept AJ/Hearn's terms? Must be important enough that both teams feel the need to negotiate them and worth including in the contract at all.95% of the terms were agreed but they were arguing over stupid things (I heard things like who can post what on social media for example)

Fury is saying its off as AJ didn't sign the contract to the deadline he set on Monday at 5pm.Just catching up. Is this Fury / AJ charade on or off? This is 2 years too late really, but if it doesn't happen this time then it would be a massive shame.
Frankly, after watching Joe Joyce at the weekend, I think he deserves a big fight very soon against a big name heavyweight. Not the most mobile fighter, but he has a granite chin and just keeps coming forward throwing heavy punches. I was not too impressed when he first turned pro, but I am beginning to believe! Fury and Usyk's movement might be too much for him, but he certainly offers something a bit different.
Sorry if this has already been discussed at length one one of the many previous pages on here.
