Anthony Joshua Agrees Terms to Fight Tyson Fury on December 3rd (or not)

Loads of what Fury does and says is to get people talking about him and the fight to build up interest, so it's hard to know what is true and what is marketing fluff.

AJ v Joyce would be a good fight. AJ probably favorite, but Joyce offers a different problem to many of the other fighters out there. Would prefer that AJ and Fury actually get it on this time though.
Agree AJ and Joyce is a great fight.

I went to the Joyce v Parker fight last week and it was a cracker. I didn't think it was a PPV fight, especially with a fairly underwhelming undercard. But anyone who paid for it, got a cracking fight.

The other side to this is that Fury and his team could be aware that 95% of the terms were agreed but they were arguing over stupid things (I heard things like who can post what on social media for example) - maybe Fury got sick of Hearn & AJ's delays over small issues so put the pressure on?

All of this will be forgotten about in December - Fury will beat whoever he faces and then will fight Usyk in 2023 for the unification. If Fury wins that fight he will really retire, IMHO. If he loses we'll get a rematch.
If they are that stupid why wouldn't Fury just accept AJ/Hearn's terms? Must be important enough that both teams feel the need to negotiate them and worth including in the contract at all.
Also, if the deal is 95% done with only minor / trivial details left to finalise, why wouldn’t Fury leave it for a couple more days so that it could be sorted.

You’re not a big fan are ya?
I am actually, of his talents in the ring. He does come across as an absolute prat regularly though outside of it. Just be a professional, stop gassing off and get on with it. Show a bit of respect for your opponents, everyone that gets in the ring deserves that.

call me mad but I think Joshua v Fury will be announced before the weekend.
Fury has been on instagram today and didn’t mention it which made me think has he been told to keep quiet as an agreement is close. That’s my theory anyway.

In an aside he was praising Joe Joyce whom just a few days earlier he was rubbishing the talents of. Good old Tyson!!

The fights on you heard it here first!

If it does happen, then there will be a few with egg on their faces regarding calling Joshua a coward

Tyson Fury outing AJ yet again.

AJ's silence is deafening.

Nice to see Tyson is backing AJ into a corner.

AJ has no other option to take the fight or be made to look like a complete coward.

The excuses are getting fewer and fewer why he can't sign other than he is swerving Fury. I am sure people on here will give us an endless list of reasons why AJ will still be hesitating but come on, full transparency, 60/40 split, co promotion and 3 TV broadcasters all in agreement... what else does he need?

If AJ isn't going to sign today he needs to explain why. The silence if deafening.

Fury trying to put the fire out from Monday. Don't think Monday went the way he'd hoped. He received way more negativity than support both in the media and on social media.

I predict Fury fights Charr in December and we'll never find out the truth on why this fight wasn't made.

Eddie Hearn's version of events totally contradicts Warren's... truth will be somewhere in the middle
