angela raynor calling tories scum

Interesting that MSM are infatuated with her insulting the Tories, but seem unaware generally that a Tory MP suggested delivering a bomb to Anneliese Dodds office.

Don’t know, haven’t seen a great deal of him.
Well I'll educate you then.

"… no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory party that inflicted those bitter experiences on me. So far as I am concerned, they are lower than vermin.”

Really happy to help 👍

You’ve copied and pasted a famous qoutation.

You don’t know the man any better than I do.

You don’t seem fit to educate anyone…..

Older people? I'm in my late 60s and I appreciate her telling the truth.
You appreciate it because you find it agreeable.

It wasn't a wise thing for her to say at a Labour Party Conference when you're wanting the national media to focus on what the party has to offer going forward. Instead you've provided them a story of a smear that makes for great sensationalist headlines and they've obliged.
Raynor needs to think more like a politician and less like an edgy teenage activist.

Ah so you know it's a famous quotation despite appearing to be completely ignorant of the man who made it.

I didn't make the statement, never said I did hence the use of quotation marks.

I did not claim to be completely ignorant of the man. My point was that I don’t know enough about him to definitively state whether or not he lacked class.

I don't know why you're bringing up Bevan's remarks as they damaged him and the Labour party. Think on.

And how do you know enough about Angela Rayner to establish that she lacks class?

Just bore off will you.
I’ve seen more of Rayner, enough to draw an obvious conclusion.

You probably know Bevan as well as I d

Maybe that's intentional. The party isn't really talking about anything it has to offer going forward at this conference. Good distraction from Rayner to stop everyone talking about Starmer's anti-democratic leadership rule changes.

She’lll show her hand after the next election loss, I think raynor might make a good leader, but remarks like that do her no favours. Sixth form rhetoric, might play well with some but won’t win the middle ground where all elections are won.

Numpty.
thats not bad for a tory apologist - under 4 hours to abuse someone 'numpty' whilst complaining about a word a MP has used against the toffs party who have given us food banks and unprecedented peace time strife.

very good, have a blue riband & go to the top of the class.

Do you honestly believe comments like these will get Labour votes? I have my doubts. Starmer has more class and standards- whatever shortcomings he has as a leader.
I don't think it will stop people who already vote Labour from voting Labour in the future.

I don't think it will mean the over 55s that already vote tory will change their mind either.

IT might be wake up call to people who have always voted Labour but for reasons that they felt were important to them have meant they have voted tory in the last couple of elections.

The poster was himself insulting before he was insulted.
