Some of them probably don't even realise we're in the Championship, they care that little about us.
 
Seems he has just posted an instagram with him in a Sunderland shirt though, odd thing to do if he’s Boro bound…
 
Remember the fuss when Giles stopped following us? Players social media posts mean very little and it’s probably not even them posting it.

I could understand him not coming here as to not upset the seagull fanciers, but neither us or them are signing him permanently (unless we go up) and we’ve apparently made the best offer for him. Still 2 and a half weeks of the window to go of the window and a lot can happen but I get the feeling he’ll either end up abroad or at a lower end premier league club.

So fake. The screen recording says yesterday, as in Monday.

Diallo’s instagram is genuine I’m sure, but could literally mean anything. Doesn’t mean he’s going there, and I don’t think he’s coming to Boro. Man Utd are in no rush to get him out of the door and it will probably drag on for the rest of the window and he’ll end up somewhere like Fulham.

Didn’t this precede him not signing for us? Doesn’t strike me as the greatest example of it meaning very little.

Yeah, does seem strange that he's posted a photo of himself wearing a Sunderland top.

Hopefully it wasn't done as some kind of "come and get me" message.

To me it'll be no tears if we don't. It'd be great to sign him, he's a great player BUT we're well stocked in those positions and the main appeal to me is to see the mackems cry 😂

he would be a canny loan signing, i think it would work great for all parties.. if it doesn't happen.. then it doesn't happen. just a tweet on twitter at the end of the day.

Daily Mail say we have tried to sign him, United want to keep him as cover. It's not because he'd only go to Sunderland, United want him there 😂
