Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Surely it is a pointless exercise to compare drivers? The car plays such a huge part in who wins. I'm pretty sure Verstappen wouldn't be winning in a Sauber or that Hamilton wouldn't have 7 titles if he had been driving a Renault or Williams for the majority of his career.

Don't get me wrong, practically everyone who makes it to F1 is phenomenal but they don't compete on a level playing field. The equipment they are given and the quality of their support team removes the premise of competition - one on one. The driver is one part of a machine but not the most important part.

Having a favourite is fine. But judging drivers objectively against each other is impossible.
 
I wonder what an appropriate penalty would be for Verstappen's childish outburst 🤔.

Loss of the WDC perhaps 🤣
 
Penalties are so inconsistent this year, other lap one incidents which were way worse went unpunished
