A very dangerous day

Hopefully the dictator's army will be out of ALL of Ukraine - including Crimea - at some stage
Hopefully the dictator will be out of the planet (dead) too

That's the short term. The Russians didn't want a long term radiation cloud any more than anyone else.
And Putin has still asked, via the UN for direct chat with Zelensky .... I don't think Zelensky will give what he wants though.
Agreed, at the moment Zelensky has more to gain from playing this out. The Russians must be looking at a lo long hard, muddy winter ahead and that’s not worked well for them historically

And then it's time for Ukraine to sort itself out. They're going to have to get rid of their right wing militia if they want to be taken seriously by Europe, and stop their opposition to democracy in the workplace.

Zelensky wants all of Ukraine - including Crimea - back in Ukrainian control. And so he should.
I'm not sure they'll get it any time soon.
I think your sources said they would be moving forward maybe even onto Mariupol a while back - but that didn't happen.
That's not a criticism - you know a lot more than me I'm sure - I just think UK are a bit optimistic at times eg Russia are still advancing in Donetsk , having taken all of Luhansk

Re-taking is a lot harder than defending. They are currently concentrating on Kherson. But it is attritional. Ukraine is getting a whole raft of new missiles and ordnance from the west ... the Russians on the other hand are struggling. As I understand it, the Russian forces are now shifting their focus onto defending Crimea.

many countries in Europe & the EU have their own - propper - RW nut jobs... that has never been a problem for getting taken seriously by EU or Europe: France, Germany, Sweden, Poland, Hungary & even Belgium..

The Russian Black Sea fleet is effectively port locked.
The long range missiles given to the Ukrainians are starting to have a major impact.
The Ukraine can never win this war but hopefully they can force a resolution.

I think Ukraine will be under a lot of pressure from Europe to agree to give up Crimea so we can drop the sanctions and try to deal with the insane energy costs.

From Germany mainly, but NATO and other interested parties (ie the baltics and scandies) want the Russian forces to be bogged down and degraded for as long as possible.

Oh deffo - I can see why. I wonder if Truss will be as keen for that once she gets in when her tax cuts don't work and the opinion polls dive.

The Russian commander of at the Enerhodar nuclear power plant has gone all "heart of darkness" having been sacked. He and his troops have mined the plant. The Russians have activated the Nuclear anti-terrorism charter and will, if negotiations to get the commander out and de-mine the place fail, invite the French specialist PNAT unit to storm the place, with Russian special forces backing (a UN Mission).
This at a point where Putin has requested direct peace talks with Zelensky .... hoping to end the war without losing Crimea.

So, if you do praying or any of that stuff, now is a good time. Otherwise, hope to **** that this doesn't end with a big boom.

The most dangerous day of the war so far.
Is David Icke a Boro fan?
