A new keeper is a priority.

The season we got promoted Dimi had the best save to shots ratio in the division, and saved us many times.
Sorry but I just don't have the same faith in Lumley - hope I'm proven wrong.
quality of shot faced is important, I completely agree that Lumley has more ability than Dimi who spent the vast majority of a very long career playing at a low level. Dimi did great for us, but he was very limited

We needed Daniels to make Lumley look better , wilders organisation has made a difference. I striker is more our main priority unless of course a decent keeper comes up then we take one when we can get one

Another concern is his lack of policing the back four. A lot of balls come his way and defenders will aimlessly heading a ball without any help. Lumley should be calling easy ball or a big shout out for MINE.

I will set aside the debate around Lumley as his performances of late have been decent enough. However we would find ourselves with serious problems if he began to struggle for form or he got injured. For that reason I would be looking to make a signing perhaps on loan.

I see the situation the same way as when AK was in charge and Dimi between the sticks.

Dimi was solid enough at this level, with some obvious flaws, but needed replacing when we went up.

Lumley has been solid enough so far, apart from a single obvious error, so I think the cash needs to be used in more obvious positions.

I'm beginning to come around to the idea that I could accept Lumley being first-choice keeper. I thought it was harsh on Lumley to be dropped by Warnock at the time. He did have a stinker vs Birmingham but before that he'd kept 4 clean sheets in 5 games, and pulled off a match winning save at Cardiff. Since he's come back into the side he's only conceded 1 goal, and I can't remember him doing a lot wrong.

If you compare his stats to keepers of promotion rivals, he's made 19 appearances and conceded 16, Travers of Bournemouth has conceded 20 in 23 appearances, Kaminski of Blackburn has conceded 28 in 22 appearances.

I think Lumley has looked very good since he's come back in. He seems more confident and more commanding. People have criticised his distribution which I again think has been very good.

Daniels even when keeping clean sheets didn't seem very confident. In one game when someone shouted at him from the North stand after he put the ball out of play, he turned to look at the crowd and seemed as though he was going to burst into tears.

Daniels was dropped after keeping a clean sheet - which was a bit harsh
But Wilder clearly decided he wasn't good enough, and recalled Lumley
He had a very bad game against Birmingham - and I thought he was poor against QPR earlier
Both are average in my opinion. I don't think they are as good as Dimi was.
Having said that neither are dreadful - and have both done some good saves too
So I wouldn't say it was urgent, but Wilder may feel we need better
The recall of Brynn could be to replace the outgoing Stojanovic??

Lumley has been ok but that's it. Hes made a few mistakes but where do we get a better keeper from?
