I'm beginning to come around to the idea that I could accept Lumley being first-choice keeper. I thought it was harsh on Lumley to be dropped by Warnock at the time. He did have a stinker vs Birmingham but before that he'd kept 4 clean sheets in 5 games, and pulled off a match winning save at Cardiff. Since he's come back into the side he's only conceded 1 goal, and I can't remember him doing a lot wrong.
If you compare his stats to keepers of promotion rivals, he's made 19 appearances and conceded 16, Travers of Bournemouth has conceded 20 in 23 appearances, Kaminski of Blackburn has conceded 28 in 22 appearances.
