4 more years of Trump

Hes a billionaire businessman because that's what his dad left him, I read somewhere that if he had put all his inheritance into a bank and not touched it he would have more money, most of his business dealings resulted in failure.
Hes a snake oil salesman

These tweets don't prove anything without more information.

Do people really believe that the electoral commission would "miss" dead people, especially in the numbers being claimed to influence an election result?

Good grief.

Or confident smooth-talker?

Because he's a billionaire businessman with a supermodel for a wife who has succeeded in everything that the average American aspires to

To you and I - yes - but to millions of Americans he is their hero

Yeah the fact he's a billionaire goes a long way with some (whether he's a successful businessman is another debate) and he's definitely confident. Narcissists tend to be.

Not sure about smooth talker. "I know words, I have the best words" 😬........ but yeah, millions probably think he is.

On the subject of the deceased voter. Anyone, like me, wondering how that vote was spotted? I wonder how the investigator managed to obtain the full name, birth month and year and ZIP code of this particular corpse in order to be able to interrogate the voting records and demonstrate that someone had used the identity to vote. Lucky guess?

I wonder if the Republicans have planted these?
We certainly know that they've been planning to claim electoral fraud over postal votes for a period of months. What better way than to have some "sleeper votes" that they can suddenly flag up if it's convenient?
This must be at least as likely as the democrats being behind them.

Firstly lads..... @Jostler @Philly-Red @Chris_Boro @Piccadilly-Day-Tripper

@rob_fmttm has limited my account - which is fine.... he didn't message or contact me about it - So I don't know what I did wrong.... It was nice though that he limits my account after pledging money to the Player Sponsorship (y) Nice Bloke

Secondly I'm very busy with running a business at the moment - so once again I have limited time

Saw this on reddit as to why people vote for Trump. It received a couple of gold (merits) on there so thought I would share.

“This is similar to what I've said to friends/family/coworkers who just cannot understand what some people see in Trump.

My answer is that normal politics is boring, difficult to understand, and requires time and effort. For fans of Trump, he makes liking him and his politics so F***ing easy. When I spend time researching the policies of politicians I vote for (100% Dem for awhile now) it's difficult and boring. There's no endorphin rush involved in the process. It just ends with a feeling of "Oh, good."

When someone goes to a Trump rally or watches it online, it's a flood of positive emotions to be a part of a crowd cheering for an incredibly nebulous message, but a message that you already agreed with anyway. It can be a total fabrication, but if you like it and all the people around you like it, it feels good to be in that group and agree with everyone in it.

And the Republicans accuse Democrats of "identity politics" anyway.”

The thing is though, he's a massive ****. He is hugely dislikeable. Before he became president I would instantly turn over whenever the apprentice USA came on as he's such an unpleasant watch. And I can easily sit through piers Morgan. I like Clarkson. This guy's just a ****. I mean he has no wit whatsoever. The only person I can come up with who has such a disagreeable personality is Jeremy Kyle.

I don't disagree with you. I just picked the quote up on a US politics thread on Reddit and thought it was interesting. I think what R_H said is a valid point, where people in the US put their priorities, and their worship for $$ and status and him, and the crap he comes out with epitomises that.

Jeremy Kyle was playing a persona. Having heard him on radio and seen him interviewed, he comes across completely different and actually quite likeable, believe it or not. Urgh, I feel all grubby now.
