3 players to get us promoted

Would be nice but remember Leeds will still have some parachute money so could we compete financially?

I'd say that signing quality players for these positions is the absolute minimum if we want to go up next season.

No real interest in smodics... One season wonder and will cost a fortune. Only 'worth' buying pre this season.

Jay Stansfield would be worth a punt. Young and can play across the front 3. A great season on loan in a poor brum side.

Willock is decent. Yet injury prone for over a year. We've enough of them.
 
No way Jay Stanfield will be coming here unless it's another loan, he was outstanding at Exeter last season, the same at Brum this season. He is meeting every challenge and smashing it, he is going onto a big future at the highest level. , He is still a hero at Exeter because of his dad who has a stand named after him and also what he did with the " once a red always a red" episode at Plymouth.

I don't feel we should be looking to spend big on a striker. The idea of having both Lath and Archer might seem exciting, but do we really want one striker who's on high wages sitting on the bench? We wouldn't be able to accomodate both of them into the side, unless we switched to wing-backs.

I feel we need to give Lath assurances that we regard him as being our top striker, and use the money to stengthen in other areas.

Coburn is certainly good enough to be a squad player at least at this level, and I'd then be looking to bring in a low cost development striker, possibly even a free agent, to give us that extra bit of depth.
 
We have them two + Forss and possibly Greenwood. People forget how young Coburn is, when he was playing before xmas he was still younger than when Cameron Archer came to us in January 2023, the big problem for him is injuries, if he gets back to full fitness I like to see how he looks with us or another team in the champo.
 
I don't see us paying big fees for anyone. I can see us making some free signings for cover with some experienced pros to avoid the squad decimation we had this season and then it will be more punts on prospects who we can buy cheap and sell for more
 
Wonder if we could get Jayden Danns on loan from Liverpool.

Looks a player and a unit for his age. Him and Latte Lath would be great options.
