Yes that was what I was hearing yesterday but ECB clearly wanted to protect those few people who would have bought day 5 tickets in the pricier seats.

I was going to get tickets since we are both off, but it would be at least a 5 hour round trip, so would be one hell of a long day... tv in the garden it is then :d

Unfortunately sky commentators failed to make that clear.
Anybody who had actually paid for day 5 ticket will get full refund.

Great advert again for test cricket, with 2 sides who love playing each other. Fingers crossed for a 5 test series someday, unfortunately the ECB see no funds in it and rather play Oz, the Windies , India etc.

I saw something the other day, Joe Root and Kane Williamson started about the same time, and root has played approx 40 more tests.

Nightmare trying to get a ticket as the website crashed but a huge well done to the ECB for doing it. I wasn’t lucky enough to get a ticket but know a few who are working from home today and will be on their way to the TBI now.
