Best/Worst abusive songs sung at opposition players

The songs about the Bradford fire are definitely the worst I've heard. It wasn't all better back in the day....

What does Middlesbrough need to do to become a city?

I was living in Sunderland when it got city status and it did give the whole place a lift. Suddenly there seemed to be more investment, etc. Why not a Teesside city that includes Stockton, Billingham, etc? *Puts on tin hat*

    Level X - any good?

I'm in Boro for 2 days with 2 teenage boys and we've seen this. Is it worth a visit? We are on a budget so don't want to throw money down the drain.

    The Gentlemen

We are enjoying it. On Ep 5 now. When it first started I thought it was just too full of cliches but it did grab us quite quickly and as someone else said it's fairly typical Guy Ritchie stuff. That isn't a bad thing to me.

    The rain in southern Spain

No photos I'm afraid. It was good. They were called The Exploding Boys. They had one singer for the first hour (Cure) and than a different one for the second hour (Depeche Mode). I'll definitely see them again when they are in our area. It made me think how good a real Depeche Mode concert would be

    The rain in southern Spain

Very true. They do panic a bit when there is a bit of the strange wet stuff. Makes me laugh when events get cancelled days before because there is the possibility of rain. We went to a free concert (Cure & Depeche Mode tribute band) last Saturday which was in a marquee built in a bull ring...

Biggest reason for the decline in form

Sticking with tactics that a) the players aren't good enough for and b) they've been sussed by other teams.

    First ever Middlesbrough game

Vs Aston Villa on 27th December 1976. We won 3-2 with a David Mills hattrick. I have the typical memories: the colour of the shirts, how green the pitch was, first sight of the pitch after walking up the steps at the East End, Jack Charlton collecting the track suit tops, the amount of people...

    Online language learning Apps

Duolingo is ok but bear I kind that its Mexican Spanish. I'm doing it and know enough to see the differences. Carro instead of coche for car for example.

    ‘Playing out from the back’

Playing out from the back is one thing, playing suicidal balls is another. We have way too much of the latter. In the Championship you can get away with it but as we saw last night and Burnley are showing all season, you can't in the Premier. To me it only makes sense if you have the players to...

    Care Home Help/Advice please

If he's deteriorating it may be best to get him straight into a Care Home - if you can get him to go. My Dad went downhill pretty fast and in the end there was no other option. We tried care at home with a company visiting 3 times per day to make meals, clean, etc. It wasn't long before he ended...

Do you have a foreign team you support/follow?

Used to be Barca in the Pep era because it was the best football ever and I bought into the "mes que un club" stuff. Now I realise what crap that is. I admire Dortmund for how they go about things and the stadium and fans are amazing. Ajax for how they develop youth. Atleti because they are...

Mackem's talking about us reaching the semis

Do well but not better than us. And we win all derbies obviously. Id rather all 3 north east teams in the premier league than the likes of Bournemouth

Football in Andalucia - What is going on?

@Malaguena @spanishman Not a good time for football in the South of Spain. 4 out of the bottom 5! Almeria and Granada look doomed.
