AC/DC tickets

I remember going to see them at Newcastle City Hall back in the day, not that long after Brian Johnson had joined in fact an i think we only paid 4 or 5 quid for a ticket 🤣 luckily I’ve seen them a good few times but i think I’m going to have to pass on those prices now - how times have changed

I've just looked at the prices and they are similar to what we have paid to see Springsteen in May.

Saw them at the Town Hall with Bon Scott I was never a huge fan but they were brilliant TBH. Can't remember the last time I heard anything good/great by them.

Oh was just too young to go see them with Bon - that must have been amazing to see them in Boro though.

Sold out - they got the pricing right they can argue
Yep you could say that - been a while since they played here and possibly the last time they will so that has probably played a part as well. I’m sure they’ll still put on a great show but Malcolm was a big part of the band in my eyes so I’d probably see it as not quite as good as they once were.

Is this how much it is in the UK too?

Bloody hell. No way.

Announced today Kamalot with Ad Infinitum, and Blackbriar.. £32 at the KK Steelmill Wolverhampton. That will do for me.

Got two tickets for Munich in June. Sold out pretty quickly. Few work colleagues tried unsuccessfully. So as mentioned, they’d argue the pricing was correct.
Not justifying it however. It’s insane the cost of tickets at the moment. But people are paying them.

Must say I'm a bit funny about seeing bands where a lot of their original/classic lineups have left.

For £20-30 I'd probably have dragged myself along to see Brian and Angus but for those prices........ ooooooffffff.

Got ours this morning for the first Wembley gig. The concert diary is filling up nicely, that’s Springsteen, Killers, Eagles and AC/DC booked so far.
Wow - that must be at least £500 for the equivalent of one ticket , to see in most cases groups of pensioners playing songs from 40 years ago.

Funny story, i worked with Brian Johnsons brother Vic, who is a welding inspector, think he might have retired now, told me Brian turns up at family
meetings with his daft ACDC hat on all the time, even at christmas
