What was the best match you've seen as a neutral?

Saw Fulham beat Juve in April 2010 with a Fulham supporting pal, back when the memory of Steau/Basel was still fresh. Clint Dempsey scored a stunner.

    Hoppe

According to his social media, he has come back and has been at games but appears to be spending a lot of time in an empty gym (Rockliffe?). If available, seems odd he wasn't at least on the bench today, unless he is injured or a transfer is already in place for him.

Trump ruled ineligible to run for President

With a conservative 6-3 split on the top Supreme Court, this is likely to be overturned I would imagine, especially since 3 of them are Trump appointees. Will provide more oxygen to his base too!

    Anybody in Vietnam

I lived there 2017-2020. Rarely used dollars, if ever. On the odd occasion I even used my monzo card out there to withdraw cash at an ok rate. I would reccomend using VND in cash where possible, not your credit/debit card.

    MSS history?

I went to a lot of events 2014-2017 including a great party the night before the playoff final where they had ex players and bands on at Walkabout by Temple Station and some brilliant boat trips, the Charlton one was the game Karanka had walked out mind, it was a surreal atmosphere. I moved...

    Glastonbury 2023

The moaners here and on social media are hilarious. They have 7 albums, across a 21 song set they played stuff from all of them. I saw them at the Emirates last weekend and the setlist is only 1 song different, the atmosphere at that show was perhaps the best I have seen at a stadium gig. For...

What would our fifa ranking/team would we be like if entered a World Cup qualification group?

The home nations are probably the best guide? We are significantly stronger than NI. Roughly comparable but perhaps not quite as good as a full strength Scotland or Wales.

Mid week things to do in london

The George Inn is an old boozer in London Bridge which is worth a visit. El Pastor in Borough Market for decent Mexican. You could also venture over to the Bermondsey beer mile. Further south - Brixton Village is quite fun for an evening and still pretty busy midweek, loads of food/drink options.

    Chuba Akpom…

I did some work at Chuba's old secondary school a few years back, the staff only had positive things to say about him as a person, the school nurse had a photo of him on the wall. Worth noting his school produced plenty of footballers but only Chuba was spoken about so highly as a person. Sadly...

    Tokyo Tips

I went to Tokyo 4 years ago, when I lived in Hanoi, funnily enough! Shinjuku was a buzzy and the Golden Gai was excellent for a night out, would reccomend as long as you aren't in a group of more than 3. For areas to explore - Akihabara, the anime/manga, part shop/theme park/ super arcade. It...

    Most-searched Championship team

Steffen is from Philadelphia Steffen is from Philly and Hoppe California, but I guess could be national team fans It was discussed over on Reddit that quite a few of these states have towns of the same name either in state or neighbouring states.

    .

I am a big fan of Tolkien and found the changes to Tolkien lore pretty jarring. I can usually accept this in film/TV, early GOT for example and even the Jackson LOTR films did this a fair bit. But none of the changes they made enhanced the storyline bar the Elrond-Durin friendship. They waited...

    Train Strikes for Reading

My concern would be getting back to Reading Station for the last train at 1800, those shuttle bus queues were pretty long last year.

    Review of the Game

This. At QPR, they emptied their bench to neutralize us and last night Stoke piled attackers on to push. I know we have a thin squad but Wilder has used subs exactly the same as he would have done last season, we need to adapt. He acknowledged it last night but at least one of Smith/Fry should...

    Train strikes

I am yet to use the new line and honestly not sure how it might be affected by all the other strikes that day as I presume it has to use a lot of the same lines/signalling out towards Reading etc. But worth keeping an eye on.

    Train strikes

The new Elizabeth Line may still run as TFL/ MTR do not appear to be on strike, although they are the day before and disruption usually continues into the day next day. We are looking at driving.

    Crooks Banned for 3 games

He looked leggy again today. 3 games off isn't a nightmare if Payero is fit to at least be on the bench v Swansea.

    Hull support today

I grew up not far from Hull and every fan I know, mosy ST's, stopped going because of the Allam's. They were pleased to get new ownership, but not willing to go back instantly, maybe next year they said.

    Air B n B's.

Used them all over, definitely better than a nice hotel, particularly in rural areas. App is great, owners usually responsive. European Cities, I find a mixed bag, I booked Amsterdam for a boys weekend recently and found budget hotels to be much better value, but if I was going with a partner...

    Crowd for tonight?

Craven Cottage is lovely but they aren't loud. I have always found it quiet. As others say, they will never take many away. I like Fulham, and they get decent crowds considering the competition in the area. Historically a Champo club, benefitting now from being in a fashionable part of London...
