Crooks Banned for 3 games

He needs a break and other players deserve a chance. I do think Payero has something about him, just a shame his season has been so disrupted with injury. Be nice if he can contribute before the season is over, but I think it's all about next year for him really.

McGree is the one though obviously. Let's see what he has to offer, big chance for him to stake a claim.
 
He looks absolutely cooked. Hopefully he will be given the right instructions in the summer to be able to last a full season under Wilder otherwise I can see him being dumped from the starting 11. He wasn’t a Wilder signing but has looked good in parts, not so good in others.
 
Would not underplay how much he improves Jones when they play together. Yes Crooks has looked dead on his feet - perhaps his crazy amount of bookings, but Jones always looks best when playing close to Crooks. His latest suspension may not be that helpful

Blessing in disguise. His best play is running in to head the ball to goal. Had one today but missed the target.
I don't think he will be missed.
Also gives him a chance to improve his skills in the ticket office. looked good there
 
Wilder didn't sound best pleased about it in his post-match.

Big fan of Crooks, but there are plenty of needless bookings amongst those 15.
 
He’s been out of form for a few weeks but I still think he will be a big miss due to his height, both offensively and defensively. Teams will target that at set plays. Also not sure how well the midfield will function if we have two left footers in there. Crooks has proved to be a bit of a liability with his constant fouling.
 
Thomas for Huddersfield picked up his 10th booking today, not sure if that puts him out for Monday, bonus if it does.
