Crowd for tonight?

I was basically spot on.

Fulham fans small in number and poor in noise throughout, worst supported table topping side that's came here in a long time.
There not a bad bunch, it's a fair trek and unlike us won't have many exiles.
I quite liked their flag " this is all we take away "
They are comfortable in their size and happy not to follow the likes of Chelsea

Oh, don't get me wrong, I get why they won't be as well supported when you're from a city with over a dozen league clubs and two very successful ones.

It was more the lack of noise from them that surprised me.
They've ran away with the league and the only time I heard them was in the brief moments after they scored.
We've had similar numbers up here before from other clubs that have made themselves heard.

Craven Cottage is lovely but they aren't loud. I have always found it quiet. As others say, they will never take many away.

I like Fulham, and they get decent crowds considering the competition in the area. Historically a Champo club, benefitting now from being in a fashionable part of London and an owner with wads of cash.

Just noticed this when looking through post, I obviously didn't press "Post Reply" as 22,000 was still in reply box
Honest

I would imagine the club was disappointed with the turn out last night.

Live on SKY and on a Champions League QF night.
Horrendous weather.
Pitiful away turnout from league leaders.
Two home matches inside four days.
Very high walk up prices. £36 to sit near us in West Upper.

There are lots of reasons for the low crowd, but the crowd is still thousands higher than it was under John Neal, Bruce Rioch, Lennie Lawrence (even in the top flight). It is also higher than for Karanka's play off season and for many of the promotion season matches.
The atmosphere second half was also excellent all around the ground. Loads of noise form the south lads, the north stand and life all over the stadium, bar the few buses from West London.
