Agree about Bondi, much better in Sydney. It's a dead heat between two beaches for me. Bondi and Copacabana.
Disagree about Copacabana.

Agree with all that. I don’t understand what there is to dislike about Brussels but fair enough.Spent a lot of time in Brussels and am stunned anybody can be fond of it.
It is incredible how differently we view places - even across the same people!
We are drawn to different criteria. For me it is setting and natural. For others it is human history, architecture, culture, based around people.
Nobody is wrong, we all just have different perspectives.
I do think who you were with and what you did massively forms the memory of a place.
Wow. I’ve never been to Hawaii but I disagree with all the others on your list. Rio in particular I loved.
Yes but what I would say is 2 nights in LA (which lots of people do) is never enough as you don’t experience any of the variety. You need over a week really, which a lot of people don’t want to dedicate to it...and LA is such a difficult place to hate, given its size and variety.
For example Beverley Hills / Rodeo Drive or some of the Canyons are amazing, it's just that to get anywhere you have to spend ages in a car on the freeway, which is why people typically dislike it.
Randy Newman loves the place and highlights it in this VERY 80's video:-
There's a good bar on the corner opposite!Mannekin pis - they should have a voice recorder there because when you manage to find it I bet the most common phrase in any language is “is that it?”
A great art gallery and war museum in CanberraBrighton - tacky and dirty.
Canberra - an 8 hour round trip from Sydney to see some modern Government Buildings.
Tunbridge Wells - The Pantiles are not worth the drive.
Brussels was nice for a weekend but the greatness of the beer was matched by the sh1teness of the food, unless you want fries 3 times a day.
Love all three of those cities. Doing NC500 later this year so now expecting to love itParis/London/NY, wouldn’t ever go back
NC500 is worth a mention as well, far too busy to enjoy
The highlight of my Vegas holiday was the 2 days I spent away from place.
