Name a place you have visited that never lived up to the hype.

I think someone said we’re all different and get different things out of life. Not everyone is going to like the places that you do

Fwiw I had a great night in coco bongo in cancun. Wasn’t impressed with cancun as a whole but the night in there was superb
I walked in there and then walked back out again, might have been a bit early for there though.

Not sure if that's one of those places where no-one goes out till 1/2am, like some of Europe?

Don't get that not going out till that late either mind, just seems like it would absolutely screw up your next day, even more than going out from say 7am to 2am would

Even as a nipper, the latest I would go out would be 9/10pm.

Vegas is awesome - fact.

Agree about Wembley though, both versions. I loathe the place. If we ever win there it will still be hugely overshadowed by the fact it was there. I just wish we could end our Wembley hoodoo at a different stadium.

I also hate the new Spurs ground in almost equal measure.

Also three of my favourite cities, though not in that order.

I also love the Isle of Man.

For me, Tokyo. Lacked the excitement of other Asian capital/mega cities and tbh I found it a bit of a sterile, concrete jungle. I was on my own for a fair bit of it, however, and I’m sure another visit might change my view.

That big red Eiffel Tower was sh1te n all.
Visited Tokyo in 2019 for the Rugby World Cup and loved the place. Went on some accompanied walking tours and got to really appreciate the City which has many layers.

Angkor Wat, Machu Picchu, Galapagos Islands, Easter Island and Chichen Itza
