Why will it prolong the agony?
I think the public are fatigued with it now. Even Brexiteers (a significant proportion of which, not all, never really understood anything about the EU beyond “free movement of people”) won’t feel bothered enough to bleat on about it too much longer. Especially if we’re actually out.Any deal that keeps the likes of the ERG and Nigal Farage relevant is prolonging the agony.

Damn and blast - we compromised on the big issue of fish
Small town ; it isn’t important but Tory extremists call it symbolic to have control over our waters. One of the many many things I don't understand about brexit is why are fish so important. Its such a minority industry in the UK? Or is it because we are about to regress to a third world backwater and industries like fishing will be more important once all the financial services and manufacturing jobs go?
Access with loads of red tape and regulation: precisely what brexiteers hate. Red tape and regulation. HahahahaYou've clearly been brainwashed.
Only cost 10 billion of tax payers moneyWhat a completely stupid pointless exercise this whole thing has been. Leaving the EU will not improve anything for this country. Certainly the ordinary people of the UK will see no improvement at all.
If humans are to improve the planet, health and how people live more integration is needed. Not less.
Like I’ve just said, the only changes are lots of red tape (forms and more forms) and regulation making everyone’s life a bit more difficultI think people haven't been too bothered about it all as nothing has really changed, which deal or not, is about to change.

Well worth 10 billions worth of taxpayers money
It seems petty. To make such a fuss over a largely symbolic gesture when there are massive industries to be worried aboutSmall town ; it isn’t important but Tory extremists call it symbolic to have control over our waters.
If we want full control the the EU wouldn’t allow free trade in other areas therefore compromise has been made.
So real control is a fantasy or lie depends how you look at it.
Don’t forget the campaigning will now start to rejoin, and it will hold as much water as any campaigns for “further distance”.I think people haven't been too bothered about it all as nothing has really changed, which deal or not, is about to change.
This is the thing. Someone yesterday made a flurry reasonable and well thought out post about the benefits of Brexit. One of them was an end to bureaucracy and overhead that having to deal with the EU brings. Which made sense on a political and judicial level. Sadly on a business level it’s introduced MORE red tape. Made things worse for any British based business. Even the positives have a strong negative sideLike I’ve just said, the only changes are lots of red tape (forms and more forms) and regulation making everyone’s life a bit more difficult

Exactly, the EU have nailed it with the single market, great idea but small minded nationalists don’t like to think a huge benefit like free trade without silly red tape is worth it versus a blue passportThis is the thing. Read an interesting article on the BBC the other day about Belgian fisherman having fishing rights in UK waters in perpetuity, going back to Charles II days when he granted it. That won't change regardless of any deal.Small town ; it isn’t important but Tory extremists call it symbolic to have control over our waters.

One world one race. If only. Corruption and greed will always win unfortunately. What a completely stupid pointless exercise this whole thing has been. Leaving the EU will not improve anything for this country. Certainly the ordinary people of the UK will see no improvement at all.

Line 1 does not equate with Line 2.One world one race. If only. Corruption and greed will always win unfortunately.
When we have fission power and energy is plentiful and free we can be more egalitarian.
