To All The Tory Voters

Just another Tory activist masquerading as an ordinary football board punter. There’s a few genuine Tories on here who just give their honest and personal opinion but you can tell the activists because they start ‘messaging’ the Tory propaganda rubbish.

The obvious answer to all of our problems is to scrap the system of democracy and allow the various self righteous , know it all Labour supporters to install whoever they think right .
Labour were crushed at the last election for many reasons and not just over Brexit.
Get over it , get on with it and stop whining as you are sounding bitter and childish!

The irony

I voted labour but find it pathetic that people use a situation like this for political point scoring. Imagine Dianne abbot trying to navigate the country through this! The government is damned if they do and damned if they don’t

And how much of it is due to their own incompetence?

Dianne abbott couldn't do any worse could she? And she wouldn't be doing any navigating on her own, and despite her faults she's smarter than johnson , who is just a entitled toff out of his depth, you you carry on convincing yourself it was ok to vote tory cos of Abbott.tory voters need to own their mess

Can't agree. Think its pretty self evident now the country got it badly wrong last year.

Do you genuinely think a Corbyn led Labour/coalition gov would have prioritised saving the likes of nandos with the braindead Eat Out to Help Out policy? Or that he'd have been doling out the PPE money to fake companies set up by his mates as per the NY Times investigation.

Always Diane Abbott.

The government have shown themselves to be infinitely more incompetent than Abbott ever has.

You can't moan about political point scoring but then throw Dianne Abbott into the mix. You either think political point scoring is "ok" in which case fine. Or you don't but if that's the case highlighting a gaff prone member of the opposition to defend the government is a bit hypocritical is it not?

There's also a difference between political point scoring and legitimately criticising the government's performance. There's probably blurred lines, but ridiculous to say you can't do the latter just because we're in a crisis. This is absolutely the time the government needs to earn their corn and be held to account.

You're just another working class Tory, treacherous. Voting to bring down your living standards and those of your friends and relatives. It's as simple as that.

The Labour Party have many failings but the Tories will do you and your class more long term harm.

Take your shilling and enjoy it.
Like I said earlier, I voted Labour up to and including the Blair administration and since then voted Tory and UKIP.
I have an open mind when elections arrive and vote for whoever will look after myself and my family.
For those who say I'll always vote Labour, Well that says everything about yourself.

The irony of your post is clearly lost on you. If you can't see why it's pointless explaining.

It's not political point scoring to reference this exchange between Johnson and Keir Starmer at PMQs on Wednesday when the world and his wife was urging the Government to take another look at the Christmas period relaxation particularly as the Government had known of the new strain since Friday 11th December and that Tier 2/3 wasn't working in London and the South East.

“I wish he’d had the guts to just say what he really wants to do, which is to cancel the plans people have made and cancel Christmas – I think that’s what he’s driving at, he’s looking a bit blank, I think that’s what he’s driving at.

“I can tell him as of today that just this morning there is unanimous agreement across all the UK government, across all the devolved administrations – including members of all parties, including his own – that we should proceed in principle with the existing regulations because we don’t want to criminalise people’s long-made plans.

“We do think it’s absolutely vital that people should, at this very, very tricky time, exercise a high degree of personal responsibility – especially when they come into contact with elderly people, and avoid contact with elderly people wherever possible.

“That is how by being sensible and cautious – not by imposing endless lockdowns or cancelling Christmas as he would appear to want to do, that’s the only implication I can draw from what he’s said unless he wants to announce some other idea – that is the way we’ll continue to work together to keep this virus under control, to defeat it and take the country forward.”

Been a member on the old site since 2011 and this site since it was formed. Just don't bother looking very often.
I've contributed opinions on football in the past although not regularly.
Must have struck a nerve if you've investigated my activity.

It is absolutely right that the Government are scrutinised and held to account and, of course, have got lots wrong. However, I also deplore the tribal point scoring of Labour Good Tory bad and vice versa.
As Chris Witty continually says there are no good options but all bad. And now we have a virus that is transmitting far faster than previously.

Well for a start I bet she knows Calais is a very important port and that a lot of our trade goes through it. Whereas the Minister for Brexit didn't
