Britt Misses Empty Goal From 2 Yards

I’d drop him outright and go public why . Sod hurting his feelings , he needs to wise up and be a man . Captain ? - my a##e !
If I performed like him in my job even ( understanding comparatively that football is unique ) my attrition in my job was a lot worse than footballers .
If i failed in my role I’d of been hung drawn and quartered . In fact I’ll go further , the public , colleagues and myself would likely of died .
Further , if I got close to an abysmal performance i certainly wouldn’t have had a little giggle to myself .

Britt's had the luxury of playing almost every game over 2.5 years.
I could be wrong - haven't checked Google - it just feels this way over the last few years.
Despite his form being generally awful.......has he ever had a 'purple patch'?
I wonder what other 'failing' strikers might have achieved given these appearances?
eg, Alves, Maccarone, Rhodes - these guys were bombed out despite offering easily as much as Britt

There's not a decent striker between them. Lets not kid ourselves we are up $hit creak when it come to reliable strikers and have been for several seasons.

Who was our last dependable finisher, striker , poacher or handful ? . Serious question , how far back . Answer Bamford , but who before him ?

Be nice to see us developing a few strikers.
Not just Teesside born n' bred (which would be fantastic by the way).
Notice Brentford had a guy called Forss who came on a sub last night - googled him and they bought him 2 or 3 years ago after being released by a top club.
Be nice to see a bit of 'depth' rather than the usual '**** or bust' scenario

We can't give up though.
Unless we find a method where we can swap one of our 'production line' centre-halves for a striker.
