I don’t think this was the case. I think by all accounts we agreed to his terms and offered same as Cardiff. Moore just chose Cardiff. We signed Akpom for 2.8 million, can’t believe Moore will be on much more than Akpom.

Watched Moore a few times and he is everything a striker needs to be in this league, we would have been in a great position if we got him instead of Akpom

It means everyone else needs to work that much harder when you don’t have a finisher up front, it must be a cause of frustration as well, especially when the non finisher quite often doesn’t play the team game, needs to be routed out, he’s getting too comfortable again.

Akpom has been here a few months so needs time to settle in. From the limited time we have seen of him, he can hold the ball up, lay it off and also passes to players who are in a better position. He has also scored two goals from open play. He should be first choice until Fletcher is back or, hopefully we get somebody in January.

As bad as Britt was he at least got in those positions Akpom was anonymous

And hes been here 3 months, so if he hasn't settled in by the January window why did we sign him?
