No need for a touch. That’s an incredibly easy goal to score. Horrendous to miss tha ball completelyYeah I thought it was a goal if he hit it, but on replay it’s by no means a given that it goes in. If anything a bit of calmness to take a touch might’ve been the best option
It’s not incredibly easy. I thought at first all he had to do was hit it, but there’s bodies in the way. Each to their own thoughNo need for a touch. That’s an incredibly easy goal to score. Horrendous to miss tha ball completely
Forgot about Forss's miss until I saw the EFL highlights tonightForss’ chance had an xG of 0.27, Silvera’s would still be well under 0.5 at a guess. It just looks worse as he kicks fresh air.
And silvera reminded me of the billy ashcroft air shot 3 yards out from goal : centre of the goal too : vs Orient circa March 11th 1978 fa cup QF and I was right there in the family enclosure behind the goal. Still traumatised by itI had a tee shot like that once and it was hard to live down for a while.
Like a lot of our players unfortunately.Because he’s a very limited footballer ?
And a few points worse off without the chances he’s taken.Missed a sitter against Coventry at 1-0 down, then a week later, blazed one wide with the goal at his mercy against Huddersfield in the last minute and then the same again yesterday, goal gaping and he missed the ball.
He's just not very good, we could have been a good 5/6 points better off with the chances he has missed.
I’ve said it many times this season, he is so, so poor and just not at a professional standard.Because he’s a very limited footballer ?
