I dont think I'd be a fan if the prices were comparable to when I started.But again you're just focusing on the on the pitch results, I'm trying to balance it with the prices the club charge.
I know we have no god given right to be promoted, even through the play offs, but we exist alongside other clubs of a similar stature / even smaller than us yet we pay the highest price of all of them to watch effectively the same thing.
You're right we probably wont agree on this, but good that we can have that discussion without name calling as is often the way on here.
My dad never went to matches (car sales worked Saturday games) so I went with my uncle before my mam let me start going with my mates. I think I paid a couple of quid at 14 and that at today's prices would be maybe £5. I couldn't even think about a season ticket at that point.
I've spent tens of thousands of pounds following the club and I encourage no one to work out how much they've spent, but at the moment, nah. Yeah, Gibson put in a load of shares, it didn't mean he drank Echo Falls last night. Anyone think he'd swap his life with yours?
