While it is disappointing that season ticket prices have increased we understand that rising costs have significantly affected the club. We are pleased that our concerns regarding the short time period for early bird sales have been taken on board and this has been extended. We will continue to work with the club to ensure the views of supporters are represented.

We have been communicating with the club all morning - I had several phone calls myself - and I managed to put across to them what a difference it can make to people extending the deadline back to March 31st and potentially two pay cheques. This announcement had caught people out of the blue.

Great work from the club! Everyone will now be blind sided from the fact they extended the deadline that they will forget about the unforgivable prices and ticket increases.

Would it not be nice to have known why they decided to give people about 4 weeks notice in the first place !!

It really is amateur hour to make a change to the deadline the next day. Could they not have consulted beforehand?

Having the said that, I don't normally buy into conspiracy theories but I wouldn't be surprised this was planned all along to make it look like they are being positive / take attention away from the price rises.

The difference between early bird prices and a new season ticket is massive.
Would it bother any season ticket holders on here if the club just said it was the same price with say £10 extra admin charge ?
Could help get a lot more ST holders if people didn't feel they were being ripped off.
Surely ST holders would rather see the club get more ST holders than have some feeling they are being rewarded for loyalty. They will still be paying the same.
