Adam Clayton

Unsurprisingly goes with Karanka as his best ever manager. And says a Woodgate and Keane should of had someone experienced alongside them

Very honest of him. I always liked him in a Boro shirt. I heard how shabbily boro treated Danny Mills on his tees podcast that made me think too.

He's definitely hammered.

Said nothing bad about Warnock to be fair, only positive.

Still disappointed that he didn't get one more start, but McNair scored the equaliser so meh.

He has a point in truth. Looks like the club told him he could go, Howson sending off meant club went back cap in hand and he said no. If that is as it seems then he cant be blamed. His afternoon tweet aside that is
The afternoon tweet that no one really knows what it means. Unless I have missed something since then. If he was only told a week ago that he was not wanted don't think that's enough time to sort out a deal at Millwall but hey I have been wrong before.

He's just said the random tweet this afternoon was a "pocket tweet" and means zero.

Bit harsh some radomer giving him stick for no reason just now too.

If Adam Clayton does read this site and this thread, I'd like him to know I am one of thousands of Boro fans who will always remember him very fondly.
Fantastic in our run all the way through to promotion and can hold his head up high after the PL season.
We've had a series of poor managers since then.

Thanks for the memories Adam and I wish you the very best of luck in the future.
Top man.

I don't hold any ill feelings towards Clayton. He was brilliant for Boro for two seasons with Karanka and a key part of the promotion team. He's probably only got one decent contract left in him, so was looking after his future. Don't blame the lad.
