Adam Clayton

What about the poster who had a dig at his young child? That seems to have gone below your radar. I wonder why?

That appeared to be in reference to the headband? Was that really offensive in anyway? Did I miss a deeper meaning?

Will definitely remember Clayton's time here as a huge positive.

Him and Grant in the middle were a well oiled machine for those two seasons. No team in the league had a better CM pairing that us at the time.

He always gave his all and he's always been committed.

Good luck to him in his next move.

Where does everyone think he will go? Millwall? Or somewhere more local to where he currently lives

I hope a lot of people who posted yesterday are now rethinking their comments. It's now been confirmed that he was told he wasn't needed, wasn't offered a new contract, the tweet was a pocket tweet, he still wants to play for the Boro but it's out of his control, and therefore he has done literally nothing wrong.

Ayala, on the other hand, can go and break both of his ankles for all I care.

Bit harsh wishing someone to break both of their ankles

I was just merely agreeing she is an attractive lady. Apologised for my part in it. No need for it be brought up again really
Never saw your comment Block21?
And it's the first time I've commented on this thread so not sure about the "brought up again" comment.

i replied to BoroFurs comment saying alright isn’t she yet a poster earlier in the thread took issue with my comment saying I am better than that. I was annoyed at Clayton at the time as the tweets hadn’t came out so probably why I said it. Don’t think it’s the worst thing I have ever said on the board though.

And yeah, that’s fine I just thought you might of seen the earlier comments but if you haven’t thats ok

It was the comment about "getting her norks out". More in line with COB than here really.

You want people to rethink their comments but you want a player to break both of his ankles? THE most bizarre post of recent times.

Thank you Adam for your time at the Boro especially under Karanka. We were a mean machine back in those days, the win at Man City was something special. Fans say it was boring, but it was so nice to think if we scored, we had won the game.

Not too bothered about what's gone on behind the scenes but I'd be pretty confident that Clayton's version of events aren't 100% accurate.

I'm just glad he's gone because he's not good enough.

If you are referring to it because the comment was from Coluka then you really are a sad act.
I didn't "like" or comment on the Hilda Ogden observation because I didn't think it was that funny, but it was also not distasteful. It clearly parodied the headwear, nothing else in a light hearted way.
I doubt Clayts or his missus would have been at all bothered about that line.
I doubt you are either Barnsy; just any opportunity to have a little nark.

It's a perfectly simple scenario. The evidence now shows that Clayts doesn't deserve criticism for his behaviour, and therefore those who criticised him need to rethink their comments. We OK so far?

However, there is no current evidence to exonerate Ayala. If it later transpires that he's innocent of all wrongdoing, loves the Boro, and sat down to sign a new contract but the club refused to give him a pen, then I, in turn, will rethink my comments. Let me know if you have any further questions.
