Let's just forget him. He was good for a couple of seasons, I don't hold any bad feeling for the lad. He's gone now. Much better and much worse players have been and gone.

Edit: I was prob a bit harsh above. I loved Clayton when he played with Grant. Just want him back as he was.

Nothing has gone on. He just isn’t good enough anymore. It wasn’t just Warnock, he was in and out for a while before that.

What happened is this: he played on at risk after his contract ended and wanted to continue to do so. A serious family matter prevented him appearing in the last game. Before this game the club told him to find another club and so off he went. Hardly something that he can be criticised for.

Yes but he also stopped making himself available before the season was out and then put a stupid cryptic tweet out and then as soon as the whistle blew tonight he’s straight on social media boasting about going on holiday. Was a good player for us but tbh I have never found him that likeable.

He stopped making himself available for one game as a consequence of a serious family issue. Then he was told to find a new club. After the game he has posted on his personal social media account a family photo. What crime has he committed?

He was playing at risk before his contract ended. There's absolutely no difference. Besides, Neil Warnock said he wasn't available to play against Cardiff due to 'family matters'.

Maybe Warnock had told him he wasn’t needed for the last two games. So booked a family holiday then Howson gets sent off and we then go back to him asking any chance you could play now. If I didn’t support the Boro know what my answer would be.
