Worse pain you’ve experienced ?

I've broke my arm / wrist and nose. I'd say none were as bad as when I broke a tooth during lockdown. It had a filling and basically sheered off and spilt in half.

I couldn't get into a dentist. The only emergency one couldn't repair it as they wouldn't drill (due to covid). I didn't want to lose it. Yet after 2 days i was basically begging then to rip it out. I literally didn't sleep or eat for 3 days.

I mean it's a toss up between that and standing on a plug when you leap out of bed 😂

You’d think something as clever as your brain would instantly switch off the pain receptors , and maybe make your ears wiggle fast…. Just so other people know something is wrong

Broke my arm falling forward while playing footy when I was a kid.

Remember being in absolute bits but still put off going home to my mam incase she kicked off 😂

Wiped out on a surfboard in Mexico and the fin of the board went through the front of my thigh. Tore a tennis ball sized hole in my leg. That was painful enough in the salty water. Then onto the hospital where the surgeon had to put his hand inside my leg to scoop out the sand. AGONY!!

Vasectomy many years back. Dr Contractor!! several Anaesthetic jabs into my balls made my teeth curl!

Had a circumcision last year. 3 anaesthetic jabs into my bobbies helmet brought a tear to my eye!!

….and then you think about pain in the old world, no anaesthetic, no tablets etc…. Just bite on this bit of wood while I hack your arm/leg off and put chewed nettle leaf over the wound to help it heal……somehow !

I've broken bones, am currently suffering from the worst headaches I've ever had due to sinusitis (aftermath of covid....that was a breeze) and have given birth. However the pain I remember being the worse was from having an infection in my tooth....sobbing in pain in the middle of the night....was horrendous!!

Unpronounceable shoulder condition about 10/11 years ago. Utter agony. Properly debilitating, couldn't hold anything with my left hand or drive for months. The only sleep I got was for the hour the trippy painkillers (tramadol, from memory) worked before having to wait another 3 hours in agony before topping up. It took about 18 months before the shoulder righted itself on its own. Worst 18 months of my life.

Sounds like shoulder impingement ouch!!!. Had that last year and couldn’t even raise my hands to my head. Tooth abscess once or twice for unremitting agony but the worst was kidney stones. Felt like was being stabbed over and over again, or at least how I imagine the pain of being stabbed.

Got hit over the head with a hammer 6 times at full force. Open Fractured Skull. My wife had the same.
Bizarrely I had no pain at all at the time. I suppose adrenaline must of took over.
Leg Cramps and Disc Back Pain awful though

What was it harry

Trigeminal neuralgia.
It gets called the Suicide Disease because people have topped themselves rather than carry on with it. There's a nerve which starts near the top of the ear and splits in three, toward the eye, cheek and jaw
It's like being electrocuted through your jaw. (Just like Bond did to Jaws in The Spy Who Loved Me) ...absolutely anything will set an attack off. Violent earache, headache, toothache, eyeache and jawache all at once. Mine was caused through medication. I truly pity the poor unfortunates who get it for no good reason.

My wife was about 7 months pregnant when a small car went over my foot, I was screaming at the driver to stop, it literally stopped on top of it. I was explaining to the driver to reverse, he was debating why, until I showed him. He duly reversed the pain was unreal. My wife literally crying with laughter in the passenger seat added to the pain. I drove to hospital, no break than goodness. I came out the wifey had told everyone she could. I was humiliated, but it made her day.
