Nobody is denying his successes Wilf, but to deny what is happening right now is silly.good rant Coluka.
its an angle I suppose, but not a lot of fact in there, just conjecture and self opinion, nothing wrong with that. Now do the list with all the good things the chairman has brought us under his tutelage, just your own conjecture and opinion will do.
Agreed.Aitor's win percentage for us definitely puts him in the category of 'top drawer'.
If he received the backing in Jan 2017 I am convinced we would have stayed up.
Then who knows.

We haven't had a 'top drawer' manager in the 40+ years I've supported the club.
In fact the last 20 years has been a succession of appointing Managers in their 1st top role with the likes of Strachan, Mowbray, Monk etc thrown in.
Either way the hit ratio is **** poor
He's not in a tough spot though, he's completely out of his depth. Apart from the two wins at WBA and Preston there has been nothing to write home about this season. The wins against Stoke and Huddersfield just papered over the massive gaping cracks.hes in a tough spot Woodgate but he knew what football management brings.
We say that everytime and somehow we still manage to mess it up.the next one for Gibson is huge

Ok finny, small ray of sunshine on a depressing winter Monday for you.Dood - never looked at it like that. Proper depressing!

Regular readers will know that I have an inkling on how Gibson thinks and that I told the old board that he'd give Woodgate the job way before Pulis even announced he was leaving and all the conjecture about Kompany, Jokanovic etc even kicked in.
At this moment, with no natural successor there to come in, I have no idea who will eventually take over so in that sense there's as much chance of us stumbling on a Stevie Mac or an Aitor as there is of us employing Mr Bobby.
back woody and we will come through it
Like Pogatetz."Who appointed rookie southgate and sold quality players and replaced them with poundland replacements?"
This is literally where the whole downfall of the club started
