Seems to be working out well for him at the minute. Great win for him today. His ”fücking beauty” whilst punching the air at the end there was great
Good luck to him I sayHe's won as many games in a month with Bournemouth as he did in 7 months as our boss.Unbelievable
I think & I've said before, his biggest mistake was saying his, teams will play high tempo, fast football when we clearly didn't have the players to play to his, system, he should have just said I'm hoping to build my teams to play etcwe didn't give him the right tools to do the job, that's pretty obvious
He didn't have the intelligence to work that out. He was there before; it wasn't like he joined the club and had to work out the type of players he had. All sounds amazing I'm sure I could've suggested that we'll play like Man City and dominate possession but reality is the players aren't good enough.I think & I've said before, his biggest mistake was saying his, teams will play high tempo, fast football when we clearly didn't have the players to play to his, system, he should have just said I'm hoping to build my teams to play etc
Agree he did mention that he knew the players at all different levels at the club so he really should have known that we were limited in how he wanted us to perform week in & week outHe didn't have the intelligence to work that out. On a hiding to nothing but we can go back to 2006 when we made the decision to give Southgate the job. We were in a position where we could've been in the Premier League for the last 14 years with a successful team and may have won something.Agree he did mention that he knew the players at all different levels at the club so he really should have known that we were limited in how he wanted us to perform week in & week out
I'm not knocking him I just think he didn't help himself from the outset
What exactly was the abuse?Pleased for him. I think the abuse he got from some of our so called fans on here was.. /is diabolical
Meanwhile back at The Riverside! He's narrowly won 3, drawn 1 and lost 2 with a team full of Premier League players.
Two of those wins against teams that were in the relegation zone.
Good win today, but he's hardly ripped up trees.

I wish we could narrowly win a few more games. And?
We could lose the next 10 games in a row and it wouldn't change my point.
Our results are irrelevant to another team's performances.
In same period we have won 2 lost 3 and drawn one. He's narrowly won 3, drawn 1 and lost 2 with a team full of Premier League players.

Or if we had pushed on after signing Alf Common. Where do you end.On a hiding to nothing but we can go back to 2006 when we made the decision to give Southgate the job. Would he have been offered the job at Boro without the promise of playing in this way? I thought that the plan convinced the club and also won over some of the supporters, whether it was tenable or not. But am not sure he would have been offered the job without promising to bring something new to our play.Agree he did mention that he knew the players at all different levels at the club so he really should have known that we were limited in how he wanted us to perform week in & week out
