Slagging off the club is a favorite pastime on here. I honestly don't know why people bother saying they are fans of a club they obviously hate.

I wouldnt argue with that.
Like I pointed out to gunslinger - I hadnt been following it this afternoon and assumed it was Carrick.
Surely Gibbo and Co. must have seen Wilder`s sacking coming over the hill and had time long before the Coventry game?
I just want them to find a gaffa asap - because we are in the schitt an the boys need hope.

I'm torn. Agree this needs sorting soon, but am encouraged by the seeming lack of haste so far.

Just goes to show following the betting market on this sort of stuff is a fool's errand.
 
Even if its true who knows what he may have asked for and maybe the club are right to move on. The negativity is ridiculous.

He could have wanted millions in wages, millions to spend. Steve agnew as his assistant. Insisted on Aaron connelly up front... know one knows the situation so how can u slag the club.

This massive overreaction to anyone saying anything against the club or Gibson on here is hilarious. Not happy at the current situation = hates the club. Get a grip
 
Very disappointed with that, would have been pleased with him as an appointment, sounds like he's turned us down rather than the other way around too.

Not a good indication of our current situation.

No surprise at all, knew he wouldn’t touch this job and I can’t see many decent managers wanting it either
Would have probably been worth lining up a replacement before we sacked Wilder

He might surprise us as you say - let’s hope in a good way
 
Wouldn't surprise me if the club have decided that there are certain conditions that is putting candidates off. Whether that is recruitment, keeping specific coaches/personnel etc. Gibson's got form for that. It's why we ended up with Southgate being the "best candidate" when our stock had never been higher.
