Will we ever score again.

I’d say you have to wonder if rotation is the problem. So again, I’d call for Balogun & Coburn for the rest of the season.

I just don’t think any of them are quite good enough for a team looking for promotion. We also don’t have many midfielders or defenders who can chip in regularly.
 
Monday would be a good day for a few of the misfiring strikers to score some goals. Who will start? It seems that whoever starts doesn't score. Crooks is out too so Wilder will have to shuffle the cards again.

Bournemouth could say exactly the same, but I bet they aren’t worrying about where their next goal is coming from too much (Maybe the odd poster on their board might but I doubt it is many). I’d sooner not score and take a point than lose a game by scoring 2 and conceding 3

Could Sporar and Connolly be under pressure to earn a crust?
Time is running out for both of them.

Sporar is a gifted player, but not consistent enough for the money.
Connolly clearly has potential with the right coaching - but we dont have that time and he hasnt really stepped up to the plate.
 
5 forwards who all offer something 'different' yet none of them are what you would call great finishers. I mean I'd swap 36 year old Billy Sharp for any of them one on one.

I still think Watmore is far better off the bench after 60mins. Just doesn't have the same impact starting. Even against Hull we instantly got better. I'd rather see him as a super sub.

You bring on Sporar and I'm not sure he had a touch. Offers nothing as an impact sub.

No real point going on about it. We have 5 forwards and 3 of them won't be with us next season. I don't think anyone can say Connally / Sporar or Balogun have ripped up any trees as loan signings.

The one real positive is that unlike Fletcher and Britt etc we ain't stuck with them with big transfer fees and more so 4 year contacts.

I have no confidence in us signing or identifying two or 3 forwards in the summer. We've not had one since Bamford and you'll go back years after him to find a decent one.
