Will this antiquated American madness ever end??

The second amendment was put in place (supposedly) to protect the American people from any rogue government, giving the people the right to defend themselves from any such governing body. Sounds good in theory but i guess they never thought about the consequences of loonies getting their hands on high powered weaponry

Again. 😞😞

2 p.m.: Shooter buys AR-15. 5 p.m.: Shooter uses it to kill doctor.

It was just a general question -
I have friends and a relative who have lived there for many years, they have several. Most are used for hunting but they have small guns they carry when going out. They tell me its so widespread, and many people don't admit they have them. Driven mainly by fear i think. Not so sure what I would do. probably I wouldn't chose to live there.

Until the next one, coming soon........☹️☹️
Depending on how they're classified (deaths vs injuries (and yes this is a serious argument between factions)) there have already been 17 mass shootings since Uvalde (with this Tulsa hospital counting amongst that number).

The bit I don't understand is the gun-nuts telling everyone how important their "Constitutional Rights" are when the gun law is an Amendment. The Constitution was changed to allow it. The Constitution can be amended again without any rights being infringed.

The same forces pushing this are at work over here - count your blessings we have sensible gun laws.

This is the society we're seeking to emulate. Smashing isn't it.

We've rejected east of the North Sea in favour of west of the Atlantic.
