Will they consider moving the final?

They should do but theres no chance. They use wembley at any opportunity to pay back the build cost of the stadium. Old Trafford is significantly smaller than wembley for a game that will be sold out and have people scrambling for tickets (if that is the playoff final).
Why should they? We’ve won at Old Trafford numerous times. Getting to Wembley is an achievement of its own.

If we do get there and play them then they need to keep us apart as much as possible, Trafalgar with all the glass floating about will be a nightmare, they will need to arrange two separate places on the Friday, the only problem is I can't think of any other places, even Convent Garde is literally less than 5 minutes walk from Trafalgar.

They would be able to police the ground and surrounding areas fine on match day.

The problem would be central London the night before and night after the game.

Obviously there's a lot that needs to happen for us both to get there first

They should just rope off a couple of square miles in Hyde Park the night before and advertise it as the fighting area.

They could put up some stands for people to watch and maybe televise it.

I'm sure the Mackams would win though cos they have more fans/ they're harder/ they're dads are harder etc...

The rest of us could just have a few beers in London and enjoy our evening.

I think if Boro and Sunderland progress, then due to the difficulties on policing the event, the tie will be decided on head to head results from the season.
Only fair way really.

Or goals scored during the season?
Unfair on Sunderland, as they dont play with strikers.
Head to head or fewest defeats, only fair way.
Seriously though, I think the Wembley weekend will be a **** show if its Middlesbrough v Sunderland.
No Trafalgar, no Covent Garden, no Borough Market.
It wouldnt surprise me if there are some strange decisions which make sure it doesnt happen

I'm trying to think of other games at Wembley which have had potential flashpoints but not ended in Anarchy. What about when Man Utd play Liverpool, the Met seem to cope. It's a strange one because yes we know Newcastle are Sunderland's real derby, but between us there seems to be a fair amount of undercurrent which can drag sane people into situations they wouldn't normally get into.

**** that, the Mackems will find that they will be having to back up their paedo chants. It's a pity the authorities and moral police could have clamped down on it years ago, now if we both get to Wembley the lack of consistency shown to Boro fans as is shown to Londoners and other groups over Vile chants will end up as a source of major confrontation.
Absolutely

All they ever do on their forum is talk about how scary Ayresome Park was.

I wouldn't worry about it, they can have a few weatherspoons.

Republic were told that shouting pedo chants at the pedo prince would lead to arrest for a breach of the peace on Saturday. Maybe the police should apply that rule to this.

I’ll be having a few pints with both boro and mackem fans before the football game.. and afterward one set of us will be giving commiserations behind stifled laughter.

Anyone waiting to get into a big gang to throw windmills and claim victory of any kind.. well.. they’re just daft. Stone Island Badge, Invisible Roll of Carpet under each arm.. and many many insecurities.

I've been dreading this scenario.

Not because of the potential trouble though that could be as bad as the capital has seen but just imagine getting beat.

Defeat in a P/O final is hard to take but this would be intensified 10 times over and the pain would last for years.
