I didnt turn up.That'll include ST holders who didn't show up, so probably 17-18k actually there
That's no excuse! I turned up Easter Monday and again last night and I live in Adelaide!crowd looked poor on TV ( i am in Thailand before i get judged on not attending) guess cold , match on TV had an impact ... expect saturday to be 27 ish pending QPR result ....
Good point! Places like Middlesbrough (Stockton), that are some of the most economically deprived, their football clubs will suffer in the near future. With the economic situation, people have other things to spend their money on.£30 pound to sit in the lower tier of the North stand naaah we live in Grove hill not notting hill
The pundits were applauding the 18k that allegedly turned up at Swansea for our game.19,727
Not bad.
I agree mate. The pundits were applauding the 18k that allegedly turned up at Swansea for our game.
We have the biggest ground in the championship, it's looks worse than it is.
All things considered we have good support (excellent away support).
We do indeed, but last nigh the crowd was small and those who attended were strangely quiet. It was a poor night off the pitch. All things considered we have good support (excellent away support).
It will easily be a couple of thousand more on Saturday. We do indeed, but last nigh the crowd was small and those who attended were strangely quiet. It was a poor night off the pitch.
Thankfully it was a good night on the pitch.
There should be a much bigger crowd on saturday, but I'm not sure there will be.
Me too. Interesting that at Ayresome last night would have been an almost full house and a cracking night game atmosphere. I don't know when night games lost their special buzz. We need it back as in the Championship those games can make a difference.I agree mate.
I remember the days 4000+ crowds at Ayresome Park on the slide to liquidation.
No complaints from me
Does anyone know how many early bird season tickets ended up being sold? If we end up in total with 20k+ then I don't see normal prices changing. But I really think there should be some offers. Even if they include some perks for season ticket holders.Wonder if the club realise when they can barely shift tickets for huge league games they might have got their pricing very wrong
Well put, but the club doesn’t try to get bigger crowds as it is unwilling to put your rationale to the test.As an aside on that, why do people begrduge the club trying to get bigger crowds? Do they complain if someone buys a pair of pants in the sale that they got at full price months earlier?
Can they do in on a cold afternoon against Stoke?Im sure all the people who where desperate for Cup tickets will be there ?
we dont have a good chance of making the playoffs at all,we stand an outside chance,i admire your optimism thoIf you can go on saturday, you should.
Your team needs you.
We have a good chance of making the Play offs.
Why the **** would you not go to this match?
Which one you fancy..we dont have a good chance of making the playoffs at all,we stand an outside chance,i admire your optimism tho
