I'm not particularly behind him now, but that's because of our terrible results, not because of something he may or probably didn't do with regards to Burnley and Bournemouth.

However your post expecting the MFC website to now counter any rumour is absolute rubbish, and would set a dangerous and unmanageable precedent.

Must be frustrating for someone like Wilder, who as he says doesn't use social media, to hear this kind of stuff and not be able to respond to it directly until a certain opportunity like a presser. No matter how used to it he says he is.

Perhaps the club's own social channels could have intervened and put out something whether it be an article, interview etc that indicates it's all rubbish. Just an idea, better to come from the club than some local reporter.

I'm just sick of the rumours as I'm sure everyone is.

How can anyone take YOU seriously with a comment like that. The Burnley episode showed Wilder’s true colours, like the link to Bournemouth.

None of us really know if there ever was a Burnley episode or a link to Bournemouth. He's our manager and all this speculation just gives the players an excuse to under perform.

Thing is that he is going to get linked with every half decent championship and mid/lower premier league club that has a managerial vacancy. With the rate of managerial change these days we are going to get this nonsense recurring with monotonous regularity unfortunately.
