Too easy.
Surely you know I was joking? Sometimes the people you think read the board properly…How has he behaved? Has he even done anything or are you basing this on a few Twitter rumours and betting odds?
That's the trouble with messageboards - it's really hard to be sure, especially if you're not on here 24/7. Face to face the little gestures give it away.Surely you know I was joking? Sometimes the people you think read the board properly…
I’m at a barn dance with Phil Stamp tomorrow, will keep you updated. Is anyone at a wedding with Mogga? a bah mitzvah with Steve Agnew? or a christening with Lennie Lawrence this weekend so we can actually get the REAL story??? Not this fabricated nonsense direct from Wilder from a clearly biased journo!
It's a fact that when there is an absence of information people will always fill it themselves.
Oh **** off. **** sake."Of course, we are all ambitious. Everybody wants to work at the highest level, I want to work at the highest level with this football club. I think everybody understands that. Sometimes you just have to deal with the noise and nonsense that comes. If I was on social media, I would have put it to bed as soon as it came out. Thankfully, I’m not so I had to wait until Friday but these are things that you have to deal with in this game.
What About MFC website Chris why did you let the rumours go on it killed your chance of that job with the other owners looking at what was going on here is looking for a loss on saturday because your future isnt with this club we all know that now you have made yourself very clear.
It's intersting, because I rarely use twitter or Facebook anymore, both are a generally erosive, debilitating experience and I feel better that I don't.and Twitter has simply increased the size of the information vacuum.
No point trying to fill; however much you say, speculation will begin at the point you stop talking.
I'm not on it anymore; it's just Some Bloke in a Pub for the 21st Century.

If he did deny it every time it happened, you’d have people saying “he doth protest too much,” etc. Or the equivalent. People said “no smoke without fire,” earlier on this week. I mean, that’s what you’re dealing with. He'd denied the rumours once already, presumably the club knew there was no truth in it, why would they release an article to deny something he's already denied?

Time to put all this behind us now and get behind the team cause they certainly need us all together. This two week break and reset hopefully has come at the right time but the gossip certainly hasn't
Hopefully the bullshitters and liars pipe down for a bit.
Question the results, don't make up stories.
i wish i could. rarely use fb but i do like twitter for the footy stuff. though i must admit i leave myself open (as somebody who suffers with anxiety) to reading things that really affect my mood. It's intersting, because I rarely use twitter or Facebook anymore, both are a generally erosive, debilitating experience and I feel better that I don't.
You new to being a boro supporter then?Time to put all this behind us now and get behind the team
Because then they have to engage with every hysterical half bit rumour. And then if they did address it you get all the smoke without fire *****. If they denied it, it must be true.Must be frustrating for someone like Wilder, who as he says doesn't use social media, to hear this kind of stuff and not be able to respond to it directly until a certain opportunity like a presser. No matter how used to it he says he is.
Perhaps the club's own social channels could have intervened and put out something whether it be an article, interview etc that indicates it's all rubbish. Just an idea, better to come from the club than some local reporter.
I'm just sick of the rumours as I'm sure everyone is.
