Who would you replace Wilder with?

I'd say Mark Robbins. I think that could work.
I said previously that when Robins got Coventry promoted SG should have moved in and got him. Too slow. I’m not too sure about Rob Edwards as he coming off a bad sacking so I’m not too sure how his mojo will be.

I think the next appointment will be based on our current situation, so it’ll be a sensible low risk appointment so I’m not too sure if we’ll be happy with another Neil Warnock type of experience?

I'm not so sure, I think one of the reasons for letting Wilder go now was that we still want to get something out of this season.

Let's be honest, we're 8 points off the playoffs - not out of the question that we could make that up, although it would require a Chris Wilder level of performance for the rest of the season ;)

I’m warming to Rosenior, we offered him a job once before with Woody remember. Highly rated young coach within the game, would be an interesting appointment.

Corberan would be exciting because his Huddersfield were a good team who overachieved big time. If Gibbo can get over his ‘no foreigners’ thing.

Crucially, they’re both available, so fit our stupid rule of only managers who don’t have a job. And, extenuating circumstances why they left their last jobs. Neither of them failed and were treated a bit unfairly.

They’re both young enough that Gibbo might not butt heads with them. I don’t think he can handle experienced managers who are their own man and stand up for themselves. It went okay-ish with Pulis, who to be honest acted like a caretaker the whole time he was here and was very deferential about not spending “Steve’s” money (even though he spent a ******** of it.)

But Warnock and Wilder are strong characters who won’t be messed around, and both seemingly left under similar clouds when they didn’t get enough control due to the muddle of recruitment. I don’t think Gibbo can work with managers who are that strong-minded, which rules out most of the successful ones - imagine him with a Conte, that would last 5 minutes.

If I was going to appoint a steady Championship manager with experience, I’d go for Chris Hughton. Rob Edwards fills me with dread and fear we might be looking at another Woodgate.

I'm non plussed about edwards as I know nothing about him but he most certainly has far more managerial and coaching experience than woodgate. Might not be a bad thing someone coming in with low expectations, as long as he is prepared to work with the young players and can keep us out of trouble.

If he was to walk or be sacked, who would you replace him with?

The managerial market seems poor to me.
Interim boss: Someone who gets the club till the end of the season, feelgood factor et al. Could be Leo, could be Steve Round, could even be TLF if we push the boat out (done a great job as Brazil’s technical advisor).

Long-term: Mark Bonner or Michael Duff. Both great young coaches with rising stock in the game.

Edwards for me (of those at the top of the betting), Corboran seemed more a defensive minded manager, so no from me. However, it doesn’t matter what any of us think as by now, it is clear that Gibson employs who Gibson wants, Gibson buys players that Gibson wants or chooses, partly due to finances, granted. He is of course entitled to do so, it is his money, his club, we fans are just customers and have to choose whether to be sheep like or not. Is he still the best chairman baa none? Groundhog day seems to be far more frequent these days due to what seems to be decisions from the top in areas best left to others.

i really do not know what the club is trying to do. A summer of Championship hope, the biggest since 2015 (for me) wasted through recruitment failures and seemingly behind the scenes squabbles. Why do fans always blame the manager and overlook the common denominator time after time 🤷‍♂️
