Who will be the “experienced” coach we bring in?

Chris hughton has good experience of what it takes to get out the championship. Maybe he could asdist carrick

They’ll carry out an extensive search worldwide and after a thorough vetting of possible candidates they’ll go with the standout candidate: Jonathan

Must be Steve Vickers or John hendries turn for a crack at coaching at the club, they’ve been putting the spade work in hanging round the legends lounge for long enough

Where did this suggestion come from?

Seems like the likely outcome.

Carrick's seemingly keeping his job, but they surely can't just leave things unchanged after a second season in a row of decline and underachievement.

Performances have been miles off it this season, regardless of who's playing, so they've got to change something if they don't just want to throw another season away.

I guess if he's staying I'm gonna have to get behind this idea of an experienced coach come in or a proper shake up of the staff behind the scenes. As something clearly needs to change.

I want to be excited come the start of the season and maybe a change of the staff and some good recruitment will make me feel that way but we will see. Carrick out still my preference but feels like that's not gonna be the case.

Steve Hollland would be a good person to come in. Not sure if that's likely.

What about Schteve Mac? It's almost MC.....and you know one things for sure. The team will always show tremendous character !

Does MC have another brother who can join the coaching set up?
I believe while filming a recent unaired edition of ‘Who do you think you are’ Michael discovered the researchers have found an identical twin currently serving a 3 yr sentence in HMP Frankland for fraud. Luckily he has just completed his F.A coaching badges whilst inside and guided his prison team to 10th in the County Dutham Category 1 prison league and is due for release in June. Amazingly he has also just managed an NVQ level 1 in photography. Sounds ideal.

The key is staying ahead of the curve, which if park your logic and squint a bit then you’ll see the chairman doing this by waiting until October to replace a manager because there’ll be options available in October that aren’t available now. And if your choice in October fares well and form picks up, and the team has gone from the bottom 6 to the top 6 in 3-4 months and the message boards and social media is buzzing again, then when the early bird deadline comes around they’ll shift more tickets than they did this year.

It’s important to get the right person for the job and if that means sticking with the wrong person for the job until that’s possible then that’s what the club must do. It’s a really clever way of doing it. The fact you write-off 10-12 games at the beginning of a new season, plus pre-season, plus giving a big say in recruitment to the man you’re almost inevitably going to have to get rid of within 6 months, is completely irrelevant.

Might be two and two making five, but my mate is a coach at kids football and is sick of parents shouting at him. I’m ITK that he’s looking for a better role.

Sounds like the guy. How does he deal with the keeper taking more interest in the paint on the post rather than the ball?

Have two of his defenders ever ran into each
Other leading to farcical scenes and the opposition grabbing a winner?
